107-130 loss @UTA

Well the win streak was fun but it unsurprisingly came to a screeching halt at the hands of Utah. Being down two bigs, we just punted the rebounding battle in this one. Utah had more offensive rebounds than we had defensive rebounds, you're simply never going to win a game like that. We were actually a +13 with Chet on the floor, but it looks like we got absolutely cooked once he got in foul trouble.

Brown: 23pts, 7reb, 10-15 FG
Mitchell: 20pts, 3reb, 7-8 FT
Hagans: 13pts, 6reb, 10ast, 2stl, 2blk, 9-10 FT
Walker: 11pts, 5reb, 7ast, 2stl, 4-7 FG, 2-4 3P
ZDK: 10pts, 5-6 FG

Our guys played pissed after the 2 point road loss. Can’t get Dallas off our backs though

113-104 loss to the Kings.

We actually played very efficiently on offense shooting 54%. However, the Kings got 15 steals (Togashi with 8!) which gave them 10 more shot attempts which was the big difference.

Solid road win in Boston despite not having Trae. Black came in and played sparingly well in his absence but it was the Tillman show who played the entire game due to the in-game injury suffered by Ongenda. Kudos to Alvarado as well

Oklahoma City – 101
Portland – 91

POR
Z-Will – 13 pts (5-10 FG, 2-5 3PA), 5 reb, 3 ast (0 TO), 4 stocks
Christie – 15 pts (5-12 FG, 4-10 3PA), 3 stl
Koumadje – 13 pts (3-12 FG, 7-8 FT), 12 reb, 4 ast (0 TO), 3 blk, 2 stl

OKC
Nowell – 28 pts (9-15 FG, 3-4 3PA, 7-8 FT), 3 reb, 3 ast, 2 stl
Coffey – 16 pts (6-12 FG), 3 reb, 2 stl, 2 blk
Harper Jr – 13 pts (3-7 FG, 7-10 FT), 4 reb, 3 ast, 3 blk, 2 stl

This was one of our more winnable games in a brutal stretch of schedule since it’s at home, but that was too tall an ask. We just got beat by the better team as OKC has shown on repeat the past couple years. Not getting any easier next sim, as we head to Sacramento. The Kings somehow dominate us even more than OKC, so needless to say expectations are low.

L vs. MIL

We lose to the best team in the Central Division. MIL played a short bench which really worked for them and longtime Milwaukee Buck Troy Brown had 24/5/8 w/ 1 stl.
