L.A Lakers Off-Season Trade Block

This off-season we plan to continue with our rebuilding plans in L.A. The only players that I won't consider trading away will be Evan Mobley & Immanuel Quickley. Everyone else will be available for trade. We are currently seeking for rebuilding assets.

We will be looking for young players, player instructions & draft picks in return. We also have a lot of cap space available for this upcoming free agency, thus we will be willing to take on some undesirable contracts if the proper compensation is being offered on the table.

Update: We currently are in talks with multiple teams about trading down from our 8th overall pick. It is trending likely that we will be trading down rather than keeping this draft choice.

Update number 2: Pick number 8 is in talks with multiple teams & the chances of it being moved is quite high.

We are also shopping veteran 2-way center Jontay Porter. Looking for rebuilding compensation for this efficient big man.

Update #3: We had some deep talks with a team but it eventually fizzled out. We are still looking to trade down from this draft slot. However, if no suitable offer arrives then we will just proceed with selecting a player at this slot.

Update #4: Now that the 8th overall pick has been traded away, we will be exploring options in trading down from pick #17. Our point guard spot has been filled, so we are just looking for the best trade down package possible for pick 17. Happy dealings!

Update#5 Currently we are seeking for a few more 2nd round draft picks if possible. On the other hand we have quite a bit of cap space & are willing to absorb/provide cap relief for teams for a return of compensation.

Update 6: Jontay Porter is still available for any teams that is actively seeking an upgrade at the center position. We are also open to take back some less desirable contracts if it comes with proper compensation.

There is one caveat. Due to limited roster spots & plans of making signings in free agency, we are not looking to take back too many players in a trade. Cheers!

Update: We are currently seeking offers for 2nd year wingman Aaron Nesmith. We love his potential as a strong defender with range & a good all around game. However he is a little bit unhappy with us & seems to be clashing with our franchise player Evan Mobley. Thus we are willing to explore trade talks surrounding Mr. Nesmith.

Update: Due to our previous trade proposal that felt apart, Jontay Porter is back on the trade block. He’s a good starting center that can perform well on offense & defense. He’s also a nice expiring contract for cap space purposes, so please offer accordingly.
