Re: Trade Chatter
Portland rebuild begins! I think the winner of this deal will hinge on what spot will that Bucks 38 1st lands.
Porter/Nelson/Shead
Vincent/Podz/DeVico
Dunn/Jacquez/Butler
Mobley/Stephens/Soriano

I really like that "Trae'd" for Utah
Trae and Davion backcourt should be great for a one shot championship try

Re: Trade Chatter
Nice move for Philly but also if I'm CLE I'd offer Langford Monk Onu for Ayton LaRavia in a heartbeat to pair Porter Jr / Ayton and Ball as PG while Sixers get their formulaic PG PG Shooter lineup in Alvarado Langford Monk plus a young big in Onu to gather their rebounds.
All expiring so no L's taken by either side and the fits are what both guys typically coach.

Ayton makes any team a contender. I offered MEM 38 1st for Ayton also but got no reply

Re: Trade Chatter
That's a terrible deal lawd. I did make a rather large offer for a player though. I'm perfectly happy with Onu/Golomon as my centers. I love watching them foul teams out though 76ers did get him a bit cheaper that I expected.WillyJakkz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2026 2:53 am Nice move for Philly but also if I'm CLE I'd offer Langford Monk Onu for Ayton LaRavia in a heartbeat to pair Porter Jr / Ayton and Ball as PG while Sixers get their formulaic PG PG Shooter lineup in Alvarado Langford Monk plus a young big in Onu to gather their rebounds.

Re: Trade Chatter
Dude thinks I would still contend if I traded my starting PG, starting SG, and starting center for a 32yr old Ayton and moving Ball (who isn't a pg and fouls there) to pg. If I didn't win this season I'd be sooooooooo effed in my talent and cap. Maybe I'm crazy but that deal is terrifying. Yall be trading just to trade lolol

Re: Trade Chatter
Big moves! Brooklyn had to move on from SGA given their trajectory, and they picked up some nice players. Houston needed to try something new, and I like Kyrus going bold here. He needs to not give Sac a lottery pick.
I'm surprised that's all Ayton went for. I had reached out initially, but just didn't have the player/contract BKN was looking for I think. Nice work by Rhox here.

Re: Trade Chatter
The big 3 are the past and BKN did a retool with this 2 trades.
A starting lineup of Hagans, MJ, Gueye, Tillman, Chet does look good on paper. Depth is still a problem, but easier to address.
Like the 2 deals for everybody involved.
Kyrus gets his hands on a top 5 player and still has enough talent to turn the tide this season.
Silo adds a good injury insurance for the case Culver misses games again.
And Rhox goes all in, Ayton is still a guy who can lift a playoff run to a whole different level.

Oh man, end of an era in Brooklyn. It was time, but boy did that SGA/DA duo cause a lot of trouble in the past.

X on his 8th team in 7 seasons, and this is probably the first time he'll get to be the franchise player. I still believe!
