Re: Regular Season || Sim 53
Bounced back win against the Pacers on the road. Ongenda returned and spearheaded with a double-double off the bench while Jose did the usual with almost a triple double. We shot terribly again, which is the norm nowadays but we also uncharacteristically failed to convert our freethrows, missing half of our attempts. Nonetheless, it's good to be on the winning track again.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 53
4-6 since my last update... sadly that's an upward trend...
96-115 loss vs POR.
I wonder if CSL Grant Williams is as big of a yapper as the real life version. Giving up 41/16 to that guy would be unbearable lol. Anyway, we did that here. Completely fell apart in the 4th too.
Mitchell: 24pts, 8-18 FG, 8-10 FT
ZDK: 19pts, 3reb, 5-9 FG, 3-6 3P, 6-7 FT
Walker: 19pts, 7-11 FG
Hagans: 8pts, 7reb, 17ast, 2stl
116-121 loss vs SAC
We did alright here I guess. We steal this one despite awful shooting if Bazley has an average game instead of 21 on 60%, but whatever.
Mitchell: 26pts, 5reb, 2stl, 9-14 FG, 7-8 FT
ZDK: 15pts, 7reb
Brown: 13pts, 15reb, 3blk
110-117 loss @DAL
It's always someone other than Zion against us... succeeded in holding Zion to 4-15 shooting, but Balsa took us out back and MJ Walker was brutally awful. Mitchell continues stellar play.
Mitchell: 25pts, 7reb (all offensive!), 3ast, 11-18 FG
ZDK: 18pts, 6-13 FG, 4-7 3P
Brown: 14pts, 6reb, 3ast, 4blk, 6-12 FG
Chet: 13pts, 9reb, 4blk
Hayes: 12pts, 8reb, 2blk, 6-8 FG
125-111 win vs SAS
Made a change to the starting five, bringing Hagans off the bench, and we took out some frustrations on the other in state rival and played very well almost across the board. Juzang was a big lift from off the bench. I believe we more or less ran two units- 32mpg of starters and 16mpg of bench, and it seems to have worked a bit?
Mitchell: 22pts, 4reb, 3ast, 11-16 FG
Chet: 20pts, 6reb, 7-15 FG, 5-5 FT
Juzang: 18pts, 4ast, 6-10 3P
Hagans: 16pts, 6reb, 6ast, 7-10 FG
Walker: 16pts, 7reb, 5ast, 4-10 3P
89-95 loss vs UTA
The HTML links to a game in which I still had Gant, Musa, and Lofton. Bring me back to those times. idek want to know what happened in this game to result in that final score.
92-106 loss vs BRK
SGA missed a triple-double on points, and we failed to have one guy score as many points as SGA had rebounds... Next.
Mitchell: 15pts, 8reb, 4ast
Walker: 14pts, 6reb, 7ast, 2blk
112-107 win @IND
A loss here would've definitely caused me to throw the towel in on the season and squeezed by due to a nice big-ball game plan where we got to the line 43 times and just stopped shooting 3s. I hate this game.
Brown: 24pts, 14reb, 2stl, 2blk, 10-19 FG, 4-5 FT
Mitchell: 21pts, 4reb, 6-15 FG, 8-12 FT
Chet: 21pts, 10reb, 7-14 FG, 6-10 FT
Hagans: 16pts, 4reb, 12ast, 2stl, 5-10 FG, 6-8 FT
113-100 win vs DAL
Solid win here with the same game plan. Thankfully Balsa fouled out so we only had to deal with Zion for 44 minutes... the bigs were up for that challenge and none fouled out. I truly can't believe it *cries*
Brown: 24pts, 8reb, 2blk, 12-22 FG
Mitchell: 22pts, 3reb, 7-14 FG, 8-8 FT
Walker: 17pts, 7reb, 7ast, 3blk, 5-7 FG, 4-6 3P
Hayes: 10pts, 8reb, 7blk
Hagans: 10pts, 6reb, 20ast, 4-6 FG
105-112 loss @MEM
I can't wait till Frank N retires.
Mitchell: 25pts, 3reb, 2stl, 10-16 FG, 5-7 FT
Brown: 23pts, 12reb, 3ast, 4blk, 11-17 FG
Hayes: 19pts, 17reb, 4blk, 9-15 FG
Hagans: 8pts, 17ast
106-85 win vs MIL on my in-game birthday lol
We lucked out and got Milwaukee on a bad day. Don't even think we played that well but clearly had some lineups that worked... ZDK, Mitchell, and Walker were +25 to +30 in their minutes. Chet led us in scoring for the first time.
Chet: 23pts, 8reb, 2stl, 10-19 FG
Varnado: 18pts, 5reb, 6-11 FG, 6-6 FT
Brown: 16pts, 7reb, 3stl
Mitchell: 15pts, 3reb, 2stl, 7-13 FG
Walker: 12pts, 5reb, 6ast, 3-7 3P
and just as things start to look up, there's Walker with a one week injury yayyyy

Re: Regular Season || Sim 53
20 point loss hosting San Antonio. Our defense was non-existent. Their vets off the bench really hurt us, with Morant and Bam both going for 20+

Re: Regular Season || Sim 53
Disappointing 1 point home loss to the struggling Spurs. Looks like the former Kings took it personally as they took it to us with Jalen Johnson dropping 33 points and Tremont Waters having 25 himself.
