I didn't expect to win this one. I was hopeful. We played bad once again but didn't get as lucky as we did in game 1.

I took home court and that's the important part. Back to NY.

76-97 loss vs POR

Considering our previous season-low in points was 88. this just looks like a really bad matchup for us, and I don't think we're equipped to adjust properly... but we're gonna try.

Trying to score in the paint against Okongwu just seemed to be an impossible task in this game. Dude is a star and easily the best player on the Blazers imo, someone should max him!

Reddish: 14pts, 3ast, 4-8 FG, 5-5 FT
Lofton: 13pts, 5reb, 5-10 FG
Knight: 10pts, 8reb, 4-7 FG (16 min)
Lawson: 10pts, 5reb
Gant: 6pts, 7reb, 5ast, 2blk

Oh geez, we're in big trouble... again

Dug ourselves another 0-2 hole at home which takes us to 1-4 this post season at home. We went 34-7 during the season but we can't seem to string anything together at home.

Grizzlies are just busting through our zone. I thought maybe it was our interior but we had 14 blocks.. 10 of which were bigs. Statistically it was tight. Similar FG%, we both hardly shot threes, few more free throws for them, low turnovers for both, big rebounds for both, just a tight game.

Memphis are throwing a zone at us naturally but I can't figure out why a guy like Bozic, who is majority catch and shoot from the corner, takes a single three from 16 shots. He's only redeeming quality is to take threes and he doesn't even do that haha.

Grizzlies are a hell of an inside team and trying to match up with them is proving very difficult at the moment when we're not utilising home court advantage. Maybe we're just not a home post season team haha. Last season or the one before, we didn't have home court ever as an 8 see and got through most and maybe we're a better road team.

Don't like our chances of making two miraculous comebacks this post season though so looking grim.

It seems the motto of this series in "defense is optional" ... 126:114 in a playoff game? C'mon guys.
Maybe it is the refs though, it seems they call every little shit.

At least we cleaned up our TO a good bit and were able to get close to the basket a lot.

We lost home court and now have to try to win in NY. Not sure when was the last time we managed to do that.

NYK - ATL: 114 - 126

NYK
L. Doncic: 56pt (22/48), 9ass, 7reb
J. Porter: 11pt (5/9), 8reb, 3blk

ATL
R. Perry: 15pt (6/11), 13reb, 4blk
L. Ball: 18pt (8/16), 10ass, 7reb

Some good series so far. Road teams are dominating out West. Kings may be in trouble this time as the Grizzlies are a different beast compared to the Spurs

Wow, did not expect us to be up 2-0 on the Kings. Last time it happened they swept their opponent the rest of the series so I don't know whether to laugh or cry :D

This game was a brickfest from both sides and we are again lucky to get away with a win here. Bruno and Mobley combined for 46 points, 32 boards and 6 blocks and Culver added 24 and 10 assists. Thybulle tortured us with an impressive triple-double but Bowen played tough defense and got him to shoot 31% on volume. Kofi with 23 on 19 shots is probably the best result we can hope for.
Congrats to season 16, 17 and season 18 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm! Flash is back in season 19 though for an epic matchup... and Flash is sitting this one out :(
