Pelicans accept.

This is a huge gamble, but I'm seeing things in the metrics and ratings that suggest Bol Bol is an upgrade over JJJ in terms of roster and system fit, and Maledon will allow us to shift Evans to SG, Whitmore to SF on the bench as we continue to hunt for the right second unit. In short, this is the gamble that will push us over into title contention, we believe.

Bol Bol is also under contract next season, taking us out of FA players this year but that's fine. We can concentrate on re-signing OMP, Flagg, and hopefully Evans this summer. And we'll be revisiting this same situation of a star player with a big expiring and not having our pick the following year next season, so it'll be interesting to see what I do then.

Orlando agrees.

This is the deal that we agree to. Initially we were very intrigued by gaining Bol Bol after much discussion and deliberation we feel there has to be a pecking order and JJJ should fit in nicely with that.

We lose Simmons who is still a machine showing why he's the GOAT of the League (imo) and Matas as well who was really coming into his own this season.

We feel with all of our other changes this is the one that best suits us moving forward with a big rotation of Wemby Sarr Kessler Jackson.

We lose but also gain picks after the entire process is over.

Clippers accept

Hard to say no to the arguably CSL GOAT in Simmons. Even as he's declining, he's still on an expiring. A Sochan replica to come off the bench, with greater efficiency? Can't complain.

On the other end of the deal, we're not giving up much in terms of value. Yu will be missed, he'll grow to a capable CSL backup C, but Yu, Murray, and Howard weren't seeing many minutes to begin with. It's basically a free trade for a capable player 1-5.

Timberwolves accept.

Bol has been a stalwart for us over the last 5+ seasons and it is really difficult to trade him. He was our anchor throughout his time here and during our championship run. His statistical output was/is always at the top for C's in the league and Jestor is getting a still great player.

I am really excited about Matas. He has the potential to be a really great offensive player who at 6'10 is a unicorn and I love his pairing with Springer in the backcourt. His defense is not great, but I think we can work make it work. I'm also excited to see what Yu does with some playing time for better or worse.
