The west is making moves! I like the move for DEN and HOU - I think PHO could have gotten a little more for Lawson but I'm excited for Jedi to full rebuild and make PHO his own team with Cade, Garland, Snail Magic and their 1sts.

I don't like Gant as much as others as he has his restrictions, but there's no denying he is a type of player who raises the floor of his team and it sounds like Kyrus will be putting him into a system that will maximize his abilities - it will be fun to see how it all works out!

Denver swapped Bridges for Wiggins who are very similar and landed Monk. Good deal for them. Depth might be an issue? But when you have superstars that are getting paid that will always be the case.

Am I mistaken, but unless Denver renounces their two remaining free agents, this still puts them over the 90m?

Wow, I'm excited for Washington. I really hope they become a contender with this group!

I reviewed the trades and Denver's salary after will be $88,926,317 with 11 players. They will be able to sign someone under $1 million, and if their RFA accepts the QO it is <$1 million.

Also, I feel bad for the simmer

Well in that case...

I like the deal for Washington

Wash has a great starting 5. Hopefully everyone can "share" the basketball. And depth is key to all that offense to balance everything. Hopefully they can add some more no offense bench players.

Wow, Gary all in now. Just don't trade all of them to rebuild again haha.

He's taken on some big salary but player wise, has obviously killed it with talent.

Needless to say Gary has been busy this offseason. I've lost track of all of his trades, but at one point he had KAT on his squad as well (in place of Bender and Lee I think? But could also be misremembering, so don't quote me on this). I was surprised to hear he moved KAT, but I'm sure he had good reason.

What I think Gary has done a remarkable job at is: yes, he's acquired all of these stars (Mitchell, Tatum, Birutis, Bender). But he's also left himself assets to reshape the team as needed during the season. He still has arguably the best perimeter defender in the league in Alvarado (just about to enter his 3rd season), he has a defensive wing in Coffey who boosted last year, he has promising rookie sharpshooter Gradey Dick, and I think he still has rookies Gueye and LaRavia (unless they're traded and I just don't know it yet). He also has 2 future 1sts he can still deal. So if something isn't working on his team, he has all the tools to adjust on the fly.

And of his stars, only Bender is 30. The rest are still in their 20s. This isn't just a 1 season run.

With my luck they will probably take turns to get hurt and die, but we will try our best nevertheless. 🤣
