Stockton Arrives in Utah
Last Week New general Manager stockton12 arrived in Salt Lake City after getting the green light to switch teams and get his favourite Utah Jazz and re unite with his drafted player in Jaren Jackson Jnr and his favourite current player in Donovan Mitchell.
Stockton drafted JJJ when he was the Gm of the knicks
First Order of business was the clear the Jazz of mismanagement and those contracts and get under the hard cap which was left by former gm Ocons , then came the trade with the Chicago Bulls which sent Shamet and Richards for Tripp and Diallo and gave the Jazz 9 mil in savings .
Stockton then went over the roster to see what the Jazz will run with this season:
PG : Mitchell, Banton, Okobo
SG: Terrell , Green
SF: Hamilton , Martin , Tripp
PF: Wilson , Okafor , Maker
CE: Jackosn Jnr , Okafor
So From this the Jazz will look to give Terrell the time to see if he can become a good scorer playing alongside Mitchell and Banton will get first choice to backup with Okobo possably playing spot minutes at PG/SG.
The last Question remains what about Hamilton's and Okobo's big contracts ? while Okobo has had no offers and many Gms have said they will not take on one of the worse contracts in Hamilton( thou its not worse then littles contract ) both players will stay with the Jazz until a home is found or keep them both as Stockton refuses to fire sell either player and wont give up a first to send them off.
