With the 17th pick in the 2029 CSL Draft; the Phoenix Suns picked SG Ayo Dosunmu out of the University of Illinois who they were speculated to have coveted since he declared for the draft. Ayo brings a mix of good defense for the pro level and a emerging offensive game to the SG position that the Suns looked to replace the production of aging veteran, Alex Caruso with. With Dosunmu; the Suns grabbed a cheap SG option that is sure to grow into a role next to the stars of the team. Many Suns hopefuls were in high spirits in the draft and hoping that Ayo and the team could give a much better showing than what we saw of the 28-29 season.
The Phoenix Suns will have a decision to make at starter if they decided Talen Horton-Tucker or if Ayo Dosunmu will get the start in his rookie year. Much to think of for the Suns, but one thing is for sure they saved some money with the selection of Dosunmu

I say start the rookie. I know you said THT plays above his ratings, but that rookie looks like he has a better ceiling and is a better fit overall.

I'm not sure starting Dosunmu will help your playoff goal but lets see

It is so tempting, so so tempting
I feel it is definitely a future plan idea, but man if he can give me the defense and some shooting; he would really complete that starting lineupI'm not sure starting Dosunmu will help your playoff goal but lets see

IMO, if Ayo has a good training camp, then you have to start him, as he’s just much more talented than THT.

I think you guys bounce back a little this year starting a rookie might hurt that. Will be interesting to see how you play this out and think preseason will help you make that decision.
