2025 All Star Rosters Announced
Thanks to all who voted as we had 23 GMs vote in this years ASG.
Any players from teams who did not vote in the ASG who were nominated were bumped down one tier (i.e. starter to bench, first reserve to second, etc). Below are the rosters for the game tonight:
EAST
Starters - total votes (1st place votes):
Guard - Lonzo Ball - 106 (20) ** Tied for the League High Vote Total
Guard - Cory Joseph - 89 (13)
F/C - Ben Simmons - 106 (20) **Tied for the League High Vote Total
F/C - Stanley Johnson Jr - 104 (19)
F/C - Anthony Davis - 101 (16)
Reserves:
Guard - Trae Young - 68 (9)
Guard - Dante Exum - 54 (5)
F/C - Miles Bridges - 89 (14)
F/C - Jabari Parker - 36 (1)
F/C - Moritz Wagner - 19 (0)
Wildcards:
Forward- Brandon Ingram - 36 (0) * Bumped down 1 tier (originally voted in as Reserve)
Guard - De'Aaron Fox - 26 (1)
Others receiving votes: Elfrid Payton - 37 (2) *Ineligible due to injury; Wendell Carter - 19 (2) * Bumped down 1 tier; George DePaula - 19 (1); Milos Teodosic - 17 (0); DeAndre Ayton - 17 (0); Kyle Kuzma - 14 (0); Kris Dunn - 13 (0); Michael Porter Jr - 12 (0); Semi Ojeyele - 9 (0); Jamal Murray - 8 (0); Michael Kidd-Gilchrist - 6 (0); Jaren Jackson Jr - 4 (0); Mario Hezonja - 4 (0); Kaiser Gates - 4 (0); Zion Williamson - 3 (0); Skal Labissiere - 3 (0); Michael Young - 3 (0); Tyler Ennis - 3 (0); Zhou Qi - 3 (0); Joel Embiid - 1 (0).
Notes: The East is absolutely stacked and the starting lineup has a ton of length. Only two rookies received any votes in JJJ and Zion and if it weren't for an untimely injury for Payton he would be a reserve (and probably would have received more votes in general. Either way, its going to be tough for the West to match up to the fire power that the East is going to unleash during this years festivities. Additionally, Lauri Markkanen received 1 vote for the East, while Kristaps Porzingis received 2 votes for the East. These votes were not included.
WEST
Starters:
Guard - Marcus Smart - 106 (20) ** Tied for the League High Vote Total
Guard - Malik Monk - 85 (12)
F/C - Jayson Tatum - 105 (21) ** League High Number of First Place Votes
F/C - Lauri Markkanen - 104 (19)
F/C - Isaiah Austin - 100 (17)
Reserves:
Guard - PJ Dozier - 71 (6)
Guard - John Wall - 30 (3)
F/C - Karl-Anthony Towns - 39 (2)
F/C - Marvin Bagley - 35 (2)
F/C - Okaro White - 21 (1)
Wildcards:
F/C - Daniel Hamilton - 41 (3) * Bumped down 1 tier (originally voted in as Reserve)
F/C - Kyrie Irving - 40 (2) * Bumped down 1 tier (originally voted in as Reserve)
Others receiving votes: Kevin Knox - 33 (2) *Bumped 1 tier; Kristaps Porzingis - 30 (1) *Bumped 1 tier; Terry Rozier - 28 (0); Luka Doncic - 28 (3) * Ineligible due to injury; Joe Ingles - 18 (1); Otto Porter - 15 (0); Khris Middleton - 12 (0); Shaq Harrison - 11 (0); Isaiah Taylor - 10 (2); Richard Solomon - 10 (0); Tyler Ulis - 9 (0); Davis Bertans - 8 (1); DJ Wilson - 6 (0); Henry Ellenson - 3 (0); Andre Drummond - 3 (0); Dragan Bender - 3 (0); Gary Clark - 3 (0); Isaiah Cousins - 2 (0); Frank Ntilikina - 1 (0); Jaylen Adams - 1 (0); Gorgui Dieng - 1 (0)
Notes: The Western team isn't to be slept on, but they are hurt for another year in a row by a GM not voting and eliminating top players from the roster. Luka takes the honors of top rookie vote getter, but his injury will force him to wait another year to play in the big game. Shout out to Gary Clark for paying someone off to throw him a pity vote too!
Congratulations to all representatives and good luck tonight!

PS: Fox making it over Dunn, Payton or Murray is also weird.

Had Bridges as starter I think.
But looking at Simmons, AD and SJJ ... they are better, for now. His time will come.
Dante finally in a ASG, happy for him.

As answered via PM, my apologies for not voting. The forum has become very confusing to me since it is now full of threads of a parallel league and I missed the ASG voting thread.

Wow, excited to see Bagley in there. Wow, Luka would have made it if he wasn't injured - great rookie campaign

Re: 2025 All Star Rosters Announced
Doncic would have got the most votes in the lowly west if not for his injury I think

Tough injuries that has costed a chance of being an all star for some well deserved guys, oh well, that's part of the game. East's lineup looks nasty lol.

Re: 2025 All Star Rosters Announced
Joe Inglis as an All-Star is insane, even as just a reserve. That speaks more about the lack of Western Conference All-Star depth than Inglis being an All-Star calibre player. Happy to see Markkanen as a starter against this year, it looks to be a very fruitful career ahead for Markkanen.
Also, what a crazy Eastern Conference team. Davis and Simmons starting, and Lonzo Ball really set himself apart this season as a top point guard. Crazy that GDP didn't get into the reserves at least as well.

Not that it's a big deal, but why did Inglis make the reserves over Okaro? They're both F/C and Okaro got more votes.

Re: 2025 All Star Rosters Announced
Congrats to all the elected all-stars. The East is absolutely loaded. I had a real hard time casting that ballot. The West is definitely weaker, but still a good squad. If Doncic were healthy, he would've made a run at being a starter imo. Solomon and Cousins got slept on big-time from the Kings.

Indiana, after extended internal reflection, has decided to invoke their historical designation as a part of the U.S. "Old West." This designation will grant them automatic rights to switch conferences, effective immediately. After the all-star break, the Pacers will begin play as the newest member of the Western Conference.
