Run it back?

Post by rh0xxy »

Run it back? For a typical Franchise that is the norm call, but that is not the case with GM Rox of the Philadelphia 76ers. Following a 4-win short of claiming the 2034 CSL title, the Sixers is expected to retool once again just like in the past. But what is the plan moving forward? Let's ask the brain thrust for a more clear picture of what's to come for the team...

1. What's your thoughts of what to come?

We are in the planning stages basically, there is yet a concrete plan on what to do after what has transpired in the recently concluded CSL Finals. But one thing is certain, we are always open to any possibilities of a retool or even a complete rebuild. As the saying goes, nothing is constant in this world but change. So we'll definitely going to change things up whether it's in the coaching staff or the players.

Personally, I'm not convinced that we're the best in the Atlantic alone so we have to improve in order to keep up with the rest of the East. We are closely getting in the mix but still far from what can we consider a contending status.

We have to address our weaknesses such as rebounding, passing and interior defense. A rebounding big is a particular need this upcoming Off season. Additional passers are also welcome in the team and lastly, we are in need of a defensive anchor in the paint. That will be our priorities moving on.

2. Who do you think will be the team to beat in the East next season?

If I were to predict, I'd probably choose the Atlanta Hawks. That's a hell of a talented team. They've yet to reach their full potential and it's really scary from that standpoint. Of course Miami will still be there no matter who the players are. GM Silo is a master conductor, I have very high respect with his coaching.

3. Will the Kings repeat?

That's highly likely. I mean, that's a dynasty in the making. And they're getting better and better with those additional assets in their pocket. No shortage, whatsoever.

4. Who will be likely to be traded first for the Sixers?

Not sure, depends what's on the market. We usually sells who has the highest market value in the team so probably Simons or Okouo. We can never tell really. As much as possible I want to keep the core intact but who knows...

5. Can the Sixers make it back to back as East Champs?

Tough call I'd say. I have to admit, we just got lucky we made it to the Finals this season. We will definitely try to win it all next season unless there's an opportunity for a rebuild.

Who knows how the roster will look like in a few months, but it will still be a contender.

Yeah, unless you commit to a rebuild, whatever moves you make will still have you in contention I feel.

This is a very interesting look at the best team in my division and if I had a vote I would encourage you to make another title run! I truly believe your stout defense and acumen with wave after wave of bench guards who would start on any other team really compliments the most underrated player on your team, Viny Okouo. You have a window right now and although there are other teams in the East that are strong, there is no reason to push a rebuild. I'm not sure I'd trade Anfernee Simons as he gives you an engine but I would love to see how you approach this offseason. Goodluck rh0xxy!

I’d actually keep Simons. Felt like we played better with him in retrospect and he carried you through the playoffs

I’d personally like to see you trade away all talent and get nothing good in return so that it makes our time a little easier😂

You had a hell of a season but I know it is itching you already to switch some pieces :-)
Awesome how you can make this teams work over and over again with different personal.

Good to hear you have trust in the Hawks core, I'm not so sure anymore. The past 2 seasons were more meh than anything else. No clue were the spirit of the title year went.
So, the same question here ... run it back or change it up.

Good luck Rhox, I know you will have fun any way

Knowing Rhoxxy, he's not running it back.

But he's definitely still gonna keep the team competitive.
