Slowed down the pace to a crawl and played mainly defensive guys this sim (sat Monk, Tyus, Patton, LeBron, Cancar) with a ball movement offense.

The defense didn't really hold up the way I hoped and we went 2-3 again. Some good showing from some role players though. Bender with 25 on 8-17 (all but one shot from three) vs GSW, and Weber 26 points on 10-15 shooting vs NY and 22 on 7-14 vs MIL.

3-2 sim for the Hornets. Glad to see Dunn doing well as we incresed his minutes just a little bit. He's now top 10 in both points-per-game and steals-per-game.

Also, glad to see kid Lucas can ball. Shooting .553 from the field and averaging 10.6 pints and 7.2 rebounds in his first 5 games in Hornets uniform. Hopefully, he'll do the same once the real season starts.

Hornets vs Utah - First game since I got here that Vonleh didn't commit a single foul in the whole game. This match will go down to history.

14 blocks against the Spurs and we still didn't win. Geez.

Learned a lot from having a sub matrix input, now I have to study who played with who and how they may have performed.

Wiggins TO's were down assists were up, and dammit Dennis could play 5 popcorn machines vs us and he finds a way to turn us over and commit fouls...shit.

Drummond with 18pts 25rebs 9blks vs the Spurs, nice but not sure the Twin Towers set will work.

Well, at least it was a solid sim.
Lauri trying to look good. I hope this is sustainable because the guy has been showing up.

Went 3-1, kind of a dramatic turnaround from the 0-4 first preseason sim.

Still trying to figure out how to handle Harkless/Vaughn/Young in terms of the rotation. All of had their moments in preseason so far.

Zubac has played pretty well surprisingly with the starting role, and Len very solid off the bench.

Some wins and some losses. Two popcorn machines have been impressive though (lol willy). Michineau averaging 12p and 10.7 assists on only 1.6 to's (wow) and Knox putting up 27 per game on 46% as SF. They are leading us this preseason.

Played a lineup of Frank Jackson, Malachi Richardson, Mario Hezonja, Jonathan Isaac and DeAndre Ayton to see them get some serious minutes. They went 4-2 this sim and we saw some good stuff…and not some good stuff. Still encouraging we were able to pull out a few wins against some other teams’ starting lineups playing regular season minutes. At this point, I’m ready to just get this thing going for real!

We tried the lineup with Exum as SF and that went far better than the start of the season.
And it seems we have a lot of front court depth when it comes to controlling the board, no surprise here. But have to figure out who is getting the minutes.

Looks like my lineup was not used, but maybe the strats got used? Anyways 3-3 sim, some very interesting stuff from guys like Rabb, Conley, and Napier. We will have a submatrix for this sim, so it should give us a better idea of what we got this next sim.
