Re: Off-Season Schedule
I think coaching sims can stay at 4 days. It sounds simple to say "let's make it 2 days, no one cares about coaches anyway", but it's more complicated than that. Chances are high that we'd have to wait beyond 2 days anyway because multiple teams that pick the same coaches (which happens countless times every year) will have to pick a different coach the following sim. If all the coaching vacancies are filled in less than 4 days, then we can probably move the timeline up a day or 2.

Re: Off-Season Schedule
I am happy for the Admin team to decide on what's best. This is a forum and, correct me if I'm wrong, the idea of a forum is to let people express their opinion. That's what we're doing.Dennis wrote:Honestly, no idea why you guys can't grant them a few days to get everything done. It's a lot work.lakeshowak7 wrote:I'm glad you're not an admin anymore. @andrei: who do you think should become an admin?
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

Re: Off-Season Schedule
No, I don't see a problem. That's why we both posted our opinions/thoughts. No one ever said you aren't allowed to.
however, I prefer handling everything the way that the league can exist for a long time. Hence I'm always a bit disappointed when people make it harder for the admins.
I'm pretty sure they would love to speed everything up too. They are not only admins but GMs too and would love to see free agency start tomorrow.
When I read the comments I often feel like the people believe the admins want to hurt them/do them something bad and I just don't know why. They definitely would get everything done faster if possible..

Agree with this. If anything else provides gms with the opportunity to build up media in anticipation.mgtr81 wrote:Rush is never good long term. That's my opinion.

I need to actually use my articles this coming season. Wrote and barely scouted. Could have helped a lot.

Agreed, we got nothing but time. Not like North Korea has nukes. . .mgtr81 wrote:Rush is never good long term. That's my opinion.
