Marquette drops its fifth straight Big East game, getting completely demolished by Villanova on the road, 61-38. Pretty much no bright spots for Marquette in this one. Leading scorer Lance Jack was held to 2 points on 1 of 11 shooting.

A loss to the College of Charleston drops us to 2-5 in conference, 7-9 overall and dead last in the CAA. Boy we got some work to do.

The Hawks have been on a roll with a 13-4 record and 3 wins in the last 3 games (against Matty's UMASS squad, a tough Rhode Island team, and an always tough VCU team).
6-1 in our division as Jason Gibbs continues to put up Player of the Year numbers for us. Hoping we can sneak into the rankings soon...
