Nebraska 59 Wisconsin 69

Despite a season/career high 38 points from Kerry Drexler, including 10 three pointers, it was a loss at Wisconsin. Unfortunately nobody backed Drexler up on his one man show, and it was Norton Candidate Mike Smith of Wisconsin that took home the mvp and the win, after helping his team to a 10 point victory with 29 points and adding 9 rebounds.
Next up for Nebraska is Ohio State, in Nebraska.

Drexel Dragons – 95

Richard Carter – 21 pts, 5 reb, 1 blk
A.J. Barron – 14 pts, 8 reb, 3 ast
Todd Dixon – 12 pts, 4 reb
Phil Killion – 12 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast
Al Groves – 11 pts, 11 ast, 3 stl

Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens – 98

Nathan Lofton – 35 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast, 5 stl
Jay Jefferson – 18 pts, 5 reb, 1 stl
Caswell Smith – 11 pts, 5 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
John Leep – 10 pts, 4 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk

We lost a shootout to Delaware in what was a foul fest. Both teams got up and down and shot well over 50% (54.2% for us, 56% for them). There were a combined 63 fouls called and 89 free throws attempted. On top of that, both teams hit ten threes on 40 total attempts. It was a fun game, but a loss nonetheless for Drexel. We also lost our starting PG Mike Owes to a broken wrist. This should be a longggg season.

Butler - 66, Villanova - 75 (Win)
We were able to bounce back at home from our two game losing streak against Butler. A good balance of scoring was on display again in this one as Hasheem King led the team in scoring (17pts/5ast/4reb) while only putting in 20min of floor time. Next up is our big east rivals, Georgetown.

Took on a tough Richmond team on the road with our PG hurting, but we came out with the 4 point win and have moved up in the standings for our division. St Louis is still the only school ranked in our division, but we're hoping to take that over by the end of the year.

Wow 9 straight losses for Texas. Didn't see that coming. Definitely some tweaks to be made

Marquette follows up a humiliating road loss to DePaul by getting smashed at home by a really good Seton Hall team. We're sitting at 7-6(1-3) and I don't think we have a prayer of doing much except finishing ahead of DePaul in the Big East.

The really worrying thing is that our two most consistent players are seniors and our large junior class has pretty much under-performed all season. I'm hoping for a respectable performance against St. Johns on the road, and a win against Butler at home in our next two games.
