New Toronto Raptors GM

Post by Myles »

Well, not exactly new. Blackice will be taking over the Toronto Raptors effective immediately.

BI has requested changing teams multiple times for a while now, and in our minds, he has earned the right to change to his hometown team. He’s been around since the inception of the league (helped found it actually), and has been an outstanding member since the beginning. He took his Clippers team being decimated in stride, and in typical BI fashion, has put together a team of young talent moving forward. The cap situation isn’t ideal, but with James Young, D’Angelo Russell, Greg Monroe, etc., we felt that they are in a position to be competitive moving forward.

If you have any further questions about the decision to allow him to switch teams, please refer to our policy here and direct your questions there.

I stand by that. Hopefully someone will come and make the Clippers great again. Have no problem with active GMs changing teams specially for homecoming.

I'm happy for BI. TOR needs a GM and BI deserves better than the Clippers.

Good decision, as BI stuck it though, and made the LAC into a respectable team after getting destroyed by the DDS free agency.
Big changes are coming in D.C.

Thank you all for the kind words, I'm really excited to take on my hometown team and see what I can do with this roster.
