Conference & NCAA Tournament Schedule

Post by Myles »

Hey coaches!

We've reached the most exciting point of our season: conference tournaments and March Madness!

Now due to the irregular scheduling of these tournaments, we are going to schedule sims the following way.

Conference Tournament
5 sims per week, Monday - Thursday, Saturday
1 day per sim (conference tournaments go from March 1 to March 12)
If there are no human teams playing on a certain day, we will skip past that to speed up the sims

For example, if no human teams play March 1 - March 3, we will jump straight ahead to March 4th. This means every coach must check in every day to see what days will be simmed. We will do our best to make it very clear what human teams are playing each day, and PM coaches when they have games coming up, but we cannot guarantee anything. You are responsible for making sure you know when you are playing.

NCAA Tournament
3 sims per week, Monday, Wednesday, Saturday
This gives teams extra time to set up their depth charts for each game
Each sim will be one round of the tournament. So there will be a total of 7 sims for the NCAA Tournament.

We will also have special sims for rounds of the NIT and CBI tournament if they occur between rounds of the NCAA tournament, and human teams are still in these respective tournament.

Conference tournament sims begin on Saturday. Expect an update on Thursday with the conference tournament sim schedule.

Feel free to comment thoughts, questions, concerns below.

Skipping Sim 2 as both Drexel and Cal St. Northridge have been eliminated.

Does the HTML generate a beautiful field of 64 picture or no?

I would almost guarantee that there is no HTML page for the individual tournament trees because...well...DDS! The HTML isn't updated yet and may not be until after next sim.
