League Rules

Post by Rizzo »

League Setup:
* Allow Conference Movement: Off
* 1-100 ratings
* Can Be Fired: Off
* Allow Illegal Recruiting: On
* Prevent Underclassmen Declaring: Off
* Recruiting Difficulty Level: Normal
----- NOTE: If your coach is caught by the NCAA for recruiting violations and the school receives sanctions, you will NOT be allowed to take a job at another school until the sanctions are completed. Cheat at your own risk!

Coach Skills:
There will be three different levels that you can use when you create your coach. The three levels should level the playing field across the board for coaches as far as current abilities and potential. The levels are as followed:
* Level 1: Current Points = 250, Potential Points = 450
* Level 2: Current Points = 300, Potential Points = 425
* Level 3: Current Points = 350, Potential Points = 400

CPU Coaches:
* Real Coaches: On
----- When you decide which team you are taking over, you will be replacing that team's Head Coach. When you replace that coach, he is removed from the database. For example, if you take over for Texas, Shaka Smart will no longer be a part of our universe. Not sure how much that matters to people but figured we would let you know in case that changes your decision on what team you will be taking over.

Prestige Cap:
Teams with prestige 70+ are OFF LIMITS for human coaches to take over.
* Excluded Teams:
  • Kansas - 97
  • North Carolina - 92
  • Michigan State - 92
  • Duke - 91
  • Connecticut - 91
  • Kentucky - 90
  • Louisville - 88

  • Oklahoma State - 76
  • Georgetown - 75

I can't pick Pitt?! How in the hell is Pitt's prestige that high?! They've made exactly 1 final four in their history... in 1941... when only 8 teams made the tournament. And they promptly lost their only game in the final four. Who comes up with this stuff?? :lol:

If you do well with a good team I can see you easily getting a job offer at Pitt in not too long. Maybe 3-5 seasons?

Maybe I'm not following this right but is there a game you need to participate? I'd love to do it but I'm out if so, same reason as DDS - no PC to put it on.

Ok, thought so. Thanks.

I haven't had DDS for a while. Did for a bit with NLL but that computer crashed and was old. Don't want to put it on the new one we got for the kids and can't on my work computer.
