Batum Deal Reached, Also Heading West

Post by NanashiWake »

F Nicolas Batum was acquired by the Orlando Magic to pair next to G Paul George as one of the best defensive 1-2 stoppers in the CSL. Although recent murmurs have stated to the exact opposite in terms of a long-term situation. According to our sources, Batum has been traded to the Western Conference.

With so many teams being involved heavily in trade discussion early in this off-season a couple teams standout as potential suitors for the French wingman, including the Denver Nuggets, Dallas Mavericks and Golden State Warriors. No word from the Magic GM or anyone else as to which team has verbally agreed. We should see the details of the transaction emerge within a couple days.
Year 1: 47-35 [[Washington Wizards]]
Year 2: 45-37 [[Washington Wizards]]
Year 3: Fired [[Portland Trailblazers]]

Just realised my comment was blatantly obvious though as of course the Magic have to succeed to get it done ;)
