CSL sources: Charlotte ramps up GM search

Word out of CSL league sources indicate that the Hornets have ramped up their general manager search in recent days. After legendary general manager Ozymandias stepped down from his role last week, the Hornets immediately began an extensive search for their new head man.

Sources indicate that the first round of interviews has already taken place. Some names we’ve heard that interviewed are primarily former general managers: LakeShowAK47, Dylan, GreenBear and Myles. Currently, it is not clear who the favorite is, or who will be brought in for a second interview.

Additionally, sources say that the Hornets brass approached Kings general manager bt, in hopes of luring him away from Sacramento. They were quickly shot down and were told that no dollar amount is high enough for the Kings to let him go.

With the CSL draft coming up later this week, Hornets ownership hopes to have their new general manager in place prior to the draft starting. The Hornets hold the 10th overall pick, as well as two second round selections in this draft.

I will neither confirm nor deny baseless rumors, but I will say any GM would be very lucky to get this job. They have all the pieces to be a legit contender immediately. The hardest piece (efficient, high volume scorer) is already in place, along with a number of other assets to shape the team around him.

I dont know, I cant remember when the transition was made. i stepped away from gming then. But 23 will be out within 2 months of the season starting

Yeah, we were already behind once that transition occurred. Depending on how the engine progresses and the support we have, I'd be more willing to upgrade more frequently if the league was okay with it.

I know its not as easy for everyone to have the resources to purchase it which has always been our struggle, but I'd like to continue to evolve the league and streamline things.

Yeah, we were already behind once that transition occurred. Depending on how the engine progresses and the support we have, I'd be more willing to upgrade more frequently if the league was okay with it.

Just by publishing the articles we have as Insiders and Wiretaps to our Twitter feed alone would give us the necessary media needed for featured league status. Add in the lottery live stream and sometimes the live stream of the Finals and that’s even more.
