horrid defense but excellent offense. my scouts couldn't figure out if the offense outweighed the defense

Some impressive PG skills at 6'8, shooting and rebounding. Potential triple-double threat and I like his efficiency a lot. But really really bad on defense

Offensive minded big with shot making anywhere on the court. If not for his short coming on defense, he could be a 1st round material.

Complete dumpster fire on defense, but really versatile offensively. Should be a fun player

Terrific player on offense, shoots well from all three ranges, isn't far off from being a point forward right now, and he can rebound decently too... but I think even the term "complete dumpster fire" doesn't truly capture how problematic his defense is.

I'm hoping he'll come in real handy when teams zone us as we don't have a lot of shooters and even if he's Bowman level defense, that'll be fine I think for the spark we'll want from him and we'll just stagger minutes so he's playing alongside defenders.

Keen to work on him.

Zone is broken in this engine. It had an effect in past versions but Bucks gm did a test and it barely helps, if it helps at all.

I'm the first person to call out Wolverine on their engine and the paint covering it but I just did a simple test, 2 sims using the default roster one with passive and 10 zone and the other with attacking and 0 zone and there was a 40% drop in 3PA and a drop in percentages.

Granted it was only one sim of each but seems to be working as intended.

Zoning still works, just not like it used to. It was oppressive to the point it was worth zoning almost every team. Worked against any big man in any game.

I actually might be wrong here
But zone in DDS19 seems to counter drives, not bigs.

Since we have a huge problem with FGRA, zoning is way worse than it should be.

What I saw back then is that defensive strats had no effect on drives. I don't remember if it was in 19 or 22, though.

By the way, great selection for a second round pick.
