The Wizards select Mouhamed Gueye, center from Washington. The pick has been traded, article to come later.

I had a hard time gauging where he'd go, pretty unique player who scores great from the mid-range, can play in the post, pass well, grab offensive boards, and could possibly be a solid versatile defender, but has some significant flaws that might keep him from being a complete player. I could very well see him being the steal of the draft though.

He has some flaws, but that’s why he went 27th and not 15th. But he will definitely have a place in this league as a backup 4 who can crash the offensive glass, score from mid and post on good percentages, pass and defend at very good levels. He’s an intriguing player and if used correctly will be an impactful player for years. Great at drawing contact, very good ATB shooter.

I believe with very high catch & shoot and post up, plus having him like 30 post, 30 mid and 40 atb, he’ll be really really useful.

I was considering him strongly at 23. Solid at pressuring, plays defense, draws contact. Has pretty high Pass rating for a big so should score some. he is also a very good offensive rebounder and has solid range on his shot.
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

The younger Gueye is very solid with his playmaking for a Center. Great offensive rebounder and versatile defensively.

Has some good strengths (jumper, OREB, STL, DEF to name a few) and a couple question marks (terrible in the RA, struggles at the line, and has some discipline concerns), but Marcos will figure out how to maximize those strengths.
