24 hour rule regardless of official draft start

Post by Jestor »

Can we implement a new rule next season to put a 24 hour max even if draft hasn't officially started? Sick of the dick moves in people delaying the draft going on 2 days now.

Not needed. Just be patient. All this complaining will do is make others want to wait longer.
FINALLY a logical HC Rule our work is done

Do not feed the trolls. Especially when they appear the same time every season.

If he wants to take 3 days while everyone else gets a whole 3 hrs its his right I guess. Id be in favor of a slight rule change next yr to spread out the picks.

4 hr time slots and start the draft asap.

I'm not taking anything. I'm on my phone sporadically and not going to rush the decision. Draft was supposed to start Monday, I didn't start it early. I'll have better access to my stuff later and will make my final decision then.

There's no malicious intent to piss the people off who have nothing better to do with their lives than wait by their phones for a sim league draft pick.

Cheers.

I think someone mentioned about a logging on 3 times within 24 hours has to make a pick, or something like that in the other league. I think that might be something there.

I'm pretty sure the you said the exact same thing the last two seasons when you did the same thing. While you're waiting write some new material man. If you're gonna be divisive do it with some style. It's 2018 I do like 30 different things with my day while "waiting by my phone ".

Why start the draft unofficially? Just start it and get people on the clock or start it 3 days later and let people talk trades.

Seems this minor issue always gets a few peoples noses out of joint.

The simple way would be to move on to the next pick and when he’s ready he can choose ..

nah definitely not. He's not going over his time slot. He's perfectly allowed to take the time he needs. At the same time, everyone else is perfectly allowed to be annoyed at him since he's had plenty of notice and could've sent in a list if he knew he wasn't going to be around.

Yeah everybody is allowed to be annoyed by Kevin and at the same time.he doesn't do the league a favor activitywise. But we all know that Kevin loves to provoke and will keep it going as long as he can. I love to troll too at times, it is fun at some point.
However, as explained by others, it is his right to. Yet we always talk about how long the off-season takes and thst many lose interest after the playoffs plus a very long off-season. So for next season we need to find a better way to kick off the draft right away and to make it faster. For now he has another entire day to troll. So stop feeding him and just relax.

Ps: if someone now trades with him, that guy should be kicked out of the league:P

Manu uses it in GAH too and it works pretty well. Admins can see log on times and if they have appeared multiple times or are actively shopping the pick it get forfetied or we move to the next pick.
