Re: Regular Season || Sim 4
Oof the dreaded 0-3 start. Tried starting Abu at SG and we had another terrible offensive game. Gotta admit I did not think offense would be our issue this season as it was our strength. Time to go back to basics.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 4
Dallas in Dallas is no easy task and we got smacked as expected but damn, I never expected Ismael Kamagate to drop 48 off the bench
But yeah, poor showing by us. Nothing worked offensively or defensively and we were comprehensively touched up.
Tough start to the season for us with Warriors, Rockets, Wizards and Thunder up next.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 4
88-109 loss vs OKC
Knight: 26pts, 8reb, 6-11 FG, 14-16 FT
Gant: 12pts, 5reb, 5ast, 4blk, 2-4 3P
Reddish: 12pts, 4reb, 3ast
Gates: 10pts, 11reb, 3stl
Well that was gross. Foul trouble to Lawson and Moneke forced Nathan Knight into huge minutes, and while he put up stats, Knight's awful defense was abused. I'd much rather have seen Mika snag those extra minutes instead. In addition to the bad defense, we also bricked basically everything, with only 3-18 3P shooting, and 26-60 from 2. Walker had his 2nd complete nonfactor game in 3 games. I also have no idea how Reddish goes from taking 11 3PA in 12 FGAs last game to just 1 3PA in 11 FGA in this one. Nothing changed...
Also who the hell is Ismael Kamagete?
Knight: 26pts, 8reb, 6-11 FG, 14-16 FT
Gant: 12pts, 5reb, 5ast, 4blk, 2-4 3P

The fact that a guy with a 40 FGI and 29 FGRA can drop 48 pts with efficiency is crazy.

Yeah, had to go check. Undrafted, never really played, supposedly inefficient but somehow destroyed us whilst Zion sat back and had 14.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 4
I thought this may have been a loss for us but we were able to escape new Orleans with a 6 point win. Our defense was poor as we allowed ntilikina to torch us but Towns and Epps finally had the type of game we have been waiting for.
FINALLY a logical HC Rule our work is done

Re: Regular Season || Sim 4
Nice home win against the Bucks. Morant dropped 29 in a low scoring, grind out defensive battle. It has been an unexpected turnout for us in terms of offensive efficiency, i thought for sure that our bigs would be the ones who would be efficient but results showed otherwise lol perhaps a big turnaround is about to unfold. We'll see...
Good game as always, Manu.

Re: Regular Season || Sim 4
Got a close win over the Lakers in an away game, as we shot the ball very well inside and outside, but we gave up way too many offensive rebounds and turnovers, which allowed them to stay in the game.

Brooklyn Nets - 91
DeAndre Ayton - 20 pts, 10 reb, 1 blk
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - 19 pts, 4 reb, 8 ast, 2 stl
Robert Williams - 15 pts, 9 reb, 2 ast, 1 blk
Miami Heat - 113
Aleksej Pokusevski - 18 pts, 5 reb, 8 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk
Patrick Williams - 16 pts, 7 reb, 2 ast, 3 stl, 2 blk
Jabari Bird - 15 pts, 2 reb, 5 ast, 3 stl, 1 blk
Tony Carr - 15 pts, 2 ast, 3 stl
Welp, there goes the undefeated season. This engine is trash and we need to move to DDS:PB24 immediately!
On a serious note, going into Miami to win is never easy and I fully expected to wake up and see a massive stat line put up by Ben Simmons. Then I completely forgot that he was shipped to Minnesota and this new-look Heat team took me by surprise. Pokumon is obviously the real deal and does legit everything on the floor and Miami's defense was absolutely stifling.
Outside of our Big Three, the rest of the roster was borderline useless. Hat tip to Nikola Popovic getting up 12 shots in his 20 minutes off the bench. Of course he only hit four of them and was a -24 on the game. I'm wondering if we need to find a better 3rd big to bring off the bench to stagger with Ayton and Williams.

CLE
M. Porter: 23 pts | 8 rebs | 4 stocks
K. Kuzma: 19 pts | 5 stls
R. Langford: 17 pts | 4/19 fg | 6 asts | 4 TOs
The Pistons used a dominant 35-15 3rd quarter to propel themselves past the Cavaliers in Cleveland. The Pistons relied on atypical advantages in FG% and rebounding to eek past the Cavs, who did an excellent job of forcing the Pistons into 20 turnovers and 25 fouls.
The MOTM was James Wiseman, who did a good job going head-to-head with MPJ, forcing the MVP candidate into a 9/19 night compared to Wiseman's 8/12. Kispert added 16 points off the bench as the Pistons improved to 2-1 on the season and the Cavs fell to a disappointing 0-3.
Next the Pistons play host to the Milwaukee Bucks (2-2).

Portland – 111
Golden State – 106
OT
POR
Fultz – 20 pts (5-10 FG, 5-10 3PA, 5-6 FT), 7 reb, 6 ast (2 TO)
Haliburton – 22 pts (8-11 FG, 4-5 3PA), 6 reb, 3 ast (0 TO), 3 stl
Diallo – 24 pts (10-19 FG, 4-8 FT), 10 reb
GSW
Levi – 26 pts (10-17 FG, 4-7 3PA), 4 reb, 4 ast (1 TO), 2 stl
Jackson – 14 pts (6-11 FG), 7 ast, 4 reb, 2 stl
Dozier – 21 pts (8-19 FG, 5-6 FT), 8 ast (2 TO), 4 reb
We pulled out an OT win in the Bay Area. We played great through 3 quarters and built an impressive 18 point lead, and then threw it all away while getting torched in the 4th quarter. Fortunately, we rebounded in OT, but man that would have been a painful loss after building such a big lead. Ike has been having a really good season for us up to this point, but Metu tortured him all game with 8 blocks as Ike went just 7-26 shooting. The rest of the team picked him up though. Fultz and Hali were fantastic in our backcourt, Diallo did a good job for our interior off the bench, and OO had 6 stocks while blanketing Gettings.

Surprising win against the Rockets on the road but we continue the hot streak from the end of last year.
Barrett and Quickley have been monsters and Kuminga has fit in perfectly in his role. I’m sure things will even out but happy with how the team is performing so far.

A close 4 point loss to the Wizards at home. It wasn't even Tatum who killed us, but the guard pairing of Alvarado and Mitchell. Bowman's inefficiency didn't help as we only shot 39% from the field as a team. Mobley wasn't fantastic from the field himself but managed to get to the line 17 times to keep us close.
