It wasn’t cheap for Manu, but as Ryan points out, his core is now all 27 or younger. He completed his re-tool. Williams is not my kind of player, but Manu got great production out of an old Embiid, and Williams is an upgrade. Manu knows what kind of big man fits his system.
I’m a fan of Musa. He has a very versatile skillset, and I’m really interested to see how Manu maximizes him. I also really like Garuba. He’s a lower-usage guy and was very raw as a rookie, but he’ll be efficient and really well-rounded once fully developed. Under-the-radar guy that doesn’t get the attention he deserves.

Dylan got fantastic value for Williams. Can’t turn down 2 firsts for him.

I’m curious to see how Ingram does with Minny. I think Ingram is a good player, but I don’t think he’s as great as his reputation indicates. He’s an excellent defender and he’s a good rebounder, but something is off with his shot. Maybe he’s just had a down couple seasons, but he’s not been quite as good in the new engine. That said, I do think he fits in pretty well with Simmons and Bol Bol. The Wolves are going to be very strong defensively.

Yeah, Garuba has really nice upside as the ultimate role player that can defend, and stretch the floor. I won't be surprised if he excels under Manu's guidance as a versatile switch ready defender.

Ingram is also gonna be fairly overpaid when he's 33 years old and making $24M. Not a ridiculous contract but still kind of a hassle to plan for, especially if Simons and Simmons demand big contracts when they expire.

Not a fan of Aldama, so i like this move by the Clippers. Sac coming in really makes this deal easy.

I think I can fix him. He takes more pullup jumpers in his shot diet than MPJ which lol is not gonna happen. His corner 3 was a 41 and his potential is pretty dang good. Probably need to fatten him up too.

You guys hit the nail on the head, it was supposed to be a 2 part trade. On paper it isn't a bad deal though. I really don't value Aldama as a player, he reminds me a lot of Killian Tillie. I personally wouldn't be too surprised if his efficiency isn't elite even after fixing his shot diet. Baldwin Jr. isn't all that impressive either, but I seen him around the same value as Aldama.

The biggest thing is having those picks. They may not be great picks, but having the multitude of picks is important to me. Time for a slow and long rebuild.

I like the trade for LAC. I don’t think Aldama was going to be part of their next playoff team and best to take the 1st for him when you can. His efficiency could improve some and his shooting ratings are ok but I really don’t think DDSPB does a good job of allowing for stretch bigs, at least in this engine, lowering Aldama’s value IMO.

Great trade all around. Well balanced imo.

Interesting to see how Gant performs in a positionless system with the Rockets. I do believe he's a perfect fit but we've been accustomed to a Monk offensively led Rockets and now we don't know who would be their go to guy on offense. Not sure who among Walker, Gates and Gant can take over Monk's role.

On the otherhand, Denver looked set right off the bath. Monk and KAT reunion in Denver is a sight to behold.

While, Phoenix got a good fair share of the deal, acquiring a 1st for their rebuild.

Wow, Monk gone.. never thought I'd see the day.

Feel like it's balanced enough between the Rockets and Nuggets but the Suns could maybe have got a little more for Lawson unless that Rocket pick is good enough. They don't own their pick so Ramcus would be happier that Tatum and now Lawson are gone.

Nugs all in. With the Grizz, west going to be a tough nut to crack.

Denver / Houston / Phoenix deal doesn’t seem to be legal at all.
Denver is at 85,729,444 with 10 players in its roster.
With the move they jump to 90,572,694 with 10 players which is above the hard cap.
And Teske counts as at least 1M guaranteed since he’s own a QO at least by being a RFA.

Hate the move for the Heat. That first from Toronto is expected to be a lotto pick and Williams busted, plus he’s worth MLE money at best.

Interesting trade by the Kings and the Heat. Understandable on Sac part as they have too many players right now and not enough playing time for all. This could be Williams chance to prove his worth, i don't think he has lived up to his billing, this could be his best chance to show his stuff.

Dedric Lawson was my creation and I’ve always thought he was underrated in this league. Putting him in KW’s hands is going to be fun to watch.

Do it fast! Marcos is right that this violates the hardcap, but you will also need to fit within the S&T window for the Gant trade :)
