Re: Training Camp Chatter
Not sure how much but Murray and Mudiay had some good bumps!

Re: Training Camp Chatter
For us it was a mediocre TC:
Travis Trice - +1
His developement was real bummer...
+1 DI
Isaia Cordinier - +31
+2 SCR, +2 PASS, +2 HDL, +6 DRB, +3 DEF, +3 BLK, +6 STL, +5 DI, +2 IQ
Huge jump by Cordi, one more jump like this and he's pretty much fully developed. 80 Def, 69 Steal, 58 Block is already awesome for a SG.
Michael Gbinije - +11
+1 SCR, +1 HDL, +2 ORB, +2 DRB, +1 DEF, +1 BLK, +2 STL, +1 IQ
Solid developement, but nothing special
Jordan Mickey - +3
+3 SCR
Mickey is pretty much developed since he had his huge jump last TC, but he still improved his scoring and is now close to a 70 SCR rating. Nice.
Chris Walker - +19
+1 SCR, +2 PASS, +4 ORB, +4 DRB, +2 DEF, +2 BLK, +2 DI, +2 IQ
He has become a solid rotation guy. Able to grab boards and block shots. I like it.
Skal Labissiere - +35
+3 SCR, +7 HDL, +1 ORB, +3 DEF, +6 STL, +4 DRFL, +5 DI, +6IQ
Same like Cordi. Skal had a good TC. He's now close to his ceiling. It's weird to see him improve by 6 in stealing but nothing in block though. Would have loved vice versa.
Overall:
Solid TC. Skal and Cordi improved a lot and might already be solid help of the bench. Gbinije had a TC that will allow him to reach his ceiling one day, but Trice is a real bummer. I still do believe he can be our PG of the future, but his TC was really bad. Having 4 first round rookies, the hope is here that we might get lucky when the engine assigns some random extra potentials at the end of the season. For now we are ready to enter the season with 4 rooks which all will see some significant playing time.
PS: Im hoping to see some detailed overviews like this to get a feeling of how much this class is developing. Thanks in advance!

Re: Training Camp Chatter
Mid with a few small boosts + endurance jump. Happy with that although I though the endurance jump happens after season 4. May try him even at backup PG since his handling and passing is decent.
Mic with good jumps in key categories like Pass, Handle, and all defensive ratings. He is our starting PG now so we needed that. Happy also that Monta did not have a major drop due to age. His offensive abilities will be useful.
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

Screenshot from just before camp - that's good. I was always suspicious about signing 32+ players worried if they are going to drop after camp. I knew they get a reduction at season end but though it can happen after camp also

Diallo boomed. Should have kept Skal, but thems the breaks. McCaw continues steady improvement after booming last year, and Ponitka got a few small bumps

Re: Training Camp Chatter
Jake Layman - +1 in all the following categories: SCR, PAS, HDL, ORB, DRB, DEF, BLK, STL, DI, IQ; total of +11
Demetrius Jackson - +1 in: SCR, PAS, HDL, ORB, DEF, STL, DI, IQ; +2 in: DRB; total of +10
Myles Turner - +1 in: SCR, HDL, ORB, DRB, DEF, BLK, STL, IQ; +2 in: FT; total of +10
Justin Jackson - +1 in: SCR, PAS, DEF, BLK, IQ; +2 in HDL, ORB, DRB, STL; total of +13
Pascal Siakam - +1 in: DEF, DI; +3 in: ORB, DRB, STL; total of +11
Malachi Richardson - +1 in: SCR, PAS, DEF, STL; +2 in: HDL; +4 in: DRB; total of +10
Amida Brilha - +1 in: SCR, HDL, ORB, DRB, BLK, STL; total of +7
================================================================================
Needless to say, the Brooklyn Nets are extremely pleased with how our training camp went. Guys like Jake Layman, Demetrius Jackson, Myles Turner and Justin Jackson all saw some great boosts even while entering their 4th year in the league.
On top of that, Pascal Siakam has already developed into a fantastic rebounder (86 ORB, 81 DRB) and that's exactly what we needed. Malachi Richardson was already a bench 3&D guy from the jump and with the added boost in DRB should be able to rebound from the SG position admirably and maybe even slide to the three when playing with Nik Stauskas.
We took a shot on a project center in Amida Brimah and we are liking what we are seeing. If he can provide any meaningful minutes off of the bench we will be happy with his shot blocking and decent rebounding ability behind Myles Turner.

Re: Training Camp Chatter
Nothing unexpected here. A 12-point boost for Porzingis, not including a 13-point jump in endurance. Otherwise mostly +1s for most of my young guys.
Troy Daniels: +1 HDL, +6 EN. No real surprise here, Troy is what he is. TOTAL +1
Zach LaVine: N/A, he's 25, that's it for him. Still happy with how he's turning out though.
Abdel Nader: +3 FT, +1 PAS, +1 HDL, +1 DRB, +1 DEF, +1 BLK, +1 STL, +1 DI, +1 IQ, +5 EN. Up to 76 DEF, looking good. Still plenty of room for improvement iirc. TOTAL +11
Joseph Young: N/A, he's 27. Didn't expect anything.
Kristaps Porzingis: +1 SCR, +2 ORB, +3 DRB, +1 DEF, +3 BLK, +1 STL, +1 IQ, +13 EN. Modest improvement, hoping the shooting ratings behind the scenes jumped as well. If nothing else, going from 83 EN to 96 EN should be a huge boost. TOTAL +12
Ish Smith: +1 STL, +1 IQ, +6 EN. Didn't expect anything since Ish is pretty much at his potential and is now 25. Starting PG looking good. TOTAL +2
Klay Thompson: +2 EN. Cool.
Gary Payton II: +8 EN. He was drafted like 99% developed minus a couple shooting points so no surprise that he doesn't see much in terms of boosts. 92 EN is good for a rookie.
Vassilis Spanoulis: +8 EN. Same deal here. VS is fully developed and he wasn't supposed to improve at all. 94 EN is great for a rookie.
Miles Plumlee: N/A.
Brannen Greene: +7 EN. All I really care about with him is his shooting percentages. A little disappointed his SCR didn't improve, since he's got low 70s potential there (currently 62 SCR), but he's got a couple years of boosts to go.
Terrence Jones: -1 EN. hmmm
Vasilje Micic: +2 EN. okay.
Troy Daniels: +1 HDL, +6 EN. No real surprise here, Troy is what he is. TOTAL +1

Re: Training Camp Chatter
Jarnell Stokes +1 ENG
Askia Booker +2 FT, +1 SCR, +1 PAS, +2 HDL, +2 DEF, +2 BLK, +1 STL, +1 DI, +2 IQ, +3 ENG
Coty Clarke +2 FT, +1 SCR, +1 PAS, +3 HDL, +1 DRB, +1 DEF, +1 BLK, +4 FT, +1 DI, +1 IQ, +3 ENG
Goodluck Okonoboh +4 FT, +2 PAS, +2 HDL, +1 ORB, +2 DRB, +1 DEF, +2 BLK, +2 STL, +1 DI, +1 IQ, +3 ENG
Maodo Lo +6 ENG
Patricio Garino +1 SCR, +1 HDL, +2 DI, +2 IQ, +6 ENG
Julian Washburn +1 DEF, +6 ENG
David Nwaba +6 FT, +2 PAS, +1 DI, +2 IQ
Goodluck Okonoboh had a great camp and will probably be the backup C officially this season and perhaps will get a shot to take over for Dwight at this rate before his rookie deal is over. The game still shows him having potential just about everywhere so I've got post defense taken care of here in Cleveland. His rebounding is coming on too.
Maodo Lo's training camp was disappointing. I was expecting more than just an ENG boost. It'd be nice to get a boom guy one of these days. He's young so I'm not super worried. I've had guys who developed in season two or three like DePaula, but again lol love those guys who boom.
Coty Clarke has become a bit of a favorite of mine. Started off as just a guy to get me by behind Moe Harkless. Turned out to be one of those guys who outperformed his rating and when injuries struck played like a starter when he got the minutes. Glad to see him improve even more.
David Nwaba seems like an interesting player, but is probably a bit too fat for this season.

Nance: +1 SCR, HDL, PAS, OREB, DREB, DEF, BLK, STL, DI, IQ, END.
Zubac: +4 FT, +1 SCR, PAS, HDL, +3 OREB, +2 DREB, +1 DEF, +1 STL, +1 DI, +3 IQ, +3 END.
Yabuesele: +6 FT, +1 HDL, PAS, +2 OREB, DREB, +1 DEF, BLK, STL, IQ, +3 END.
Weber: +6 FT, +3 PAS, +5 HDL, +3 OREB, DREB, +2 DEF, +1 DI, +3 END.
Bertans/Milos didn't increase, but that was kind of expected as they were supposed to be ready now guys.
Then endurance increases for pretty much everyone. Solid camp.

Re: Training Camp Chatter
Ignoring the shooting and energy boosts:
Isaiah Taylor: +2 SCR, +3 HDL, +1 ORB, +5 DRB, +4 STL, +2 DEF, +6 DIS, +8 DRFL, +16 IQ = 47 overall
Malik Beasley: +1 SCR, +4 HDL, +12 DRB, +2 STL, +1 DEF, +1 DIS = 21 overall
Mamadou N'Diaye: +1 SCR, +1 PAS, +1 HDL, +7 ORB, +6 DRB, +5 BLK, +2 STL, +1 DEF, +4 DIS, +4 DRFL, +2 IQ = 34 overall
Isaiah Whitehead: +1 PAS, +1 HDL, +1 STL = 3 overall
Darian Atkins: +1 PAS, +1 HDL, +1 ORB, +1 DRB, +1 BLK, +1 DIS = 6 overall
A bit disappointed in Whitehead's TC, as he has a lot of room to grow in critical categories, but overall pretty happy with the results. Taylor boomed big time, N'Diaye had a great camp in the important categories, and Beasley had a solid camp (especially on the glass). Time to see who's ready to play big minutes on my team with pre-season experimentation.
