Good lord... I really wish I'd been able to snag Reggie Evans as a coach this summer. Looks like he's a player development wizard or something.GreenBear wrote:Ignoring the shooting and energy boosts:

A bit disappointed in Whitehead's TC, as he has a lot of room to grow in critical categories, but overall pretty happy with the results. Taylor boomed big time, N'Diaye had a great camp in the important categories, and Beasley had a solid camp (especially on the glass). Time to see who's ready to play big minutes on my team with pre-season experimentation.

Re: Training Camp Chatter
Most disappointing TC of all time.
My two first rounders this year:
VanVleet: +1 DEF
Jackson: Nothing
My other youngsters:
Morris: +1 SCR, +1 PAS, +1 HDL, +1 ORB, +2 DRB, +1 DEF, +1 STL, +4 DRFL, +2 DI, +1 IQ
Walden: +2 SCR, +1 HDL, +2 DEF, +1 STL
Oubre Jr: +1 SCR, +2 HDL, +1 ORB, +1 DRB, +1 DEF, +1 STL, +1 DI, +1 IQ
Youssou: +1 SCR, +1 PAS, +1 HDL, +1 ORB, +1 DRB, +1 DEF, +1 BLK, +1 STL, +1 DI, +2 IQ
None of these improvements are difference makers really, so this is really disappointing. All I can hope for is that some of these guys (namely VanVleet and Jackson) improved in their shooting ratings and I don't know about it. Corey Walden and Kelly Oubre had actual improvements in their FGI and FGJ, but hopefully some of the other guys had behind the scenes improvements.

I dont know if it really matters. I just think it's the player. Ndiaye boomed for me last year too. Not sure what Taylor's potentials are though.BizGilwalker wrote:Good lord... Re: Training Camp Chatter
Not many guys eligible for TC bumps anymore, these three are on the back end so limited increases available..
Bojan Bogdanovic had a nice EN increase so that should help.
Deng Deng was + 15 overall, mostly 1s across the board and a slightly bigger jump in EN.
Buddy Hield was +9 overall, again mostly 1s in all areas.
Nothing ground breaking but glad to see these two take another step forward and become playable.

+1 to Taylor's IQ, and +1 to Beasley's DRB. That's the kind of in-season improvement that championships are made of.

Re: Training Camp Chatter
I forgot to screenshot my guys, but the only one that should be seeing any real change is Porzingis, whose ratings I believe were 100% accurate for me in game... so going off of that, I see SCR going from 71 to 72, DEF from 70 to 71, and FGI going from 95 to 100. Everything else is identical.
Everything for Ish Smith is identical as well. Looks like he will probably not add anything more at this point, so he's going to finish just a point or two below his potential in SCR, DEF, and a couple other categories. No real issues there, he's solid.
Don't believe GPII saw any changes either, but I'm pretty sure his potential is literally just 1-2 points more than what he started with in a couple categories.
Bakumanya doesn't look like he's budged at all either.
