Teams are going to regret passing up Lacey. He looks like the best guard in the class right now.

Sykes looks to be exactly what everyone expected a bench scorer at most...

Sykes is a way better Version of Nick Johnson

Shorter version, I don't see much room for growth/improvement no pun intended

My Celtics scouts show 72 for scr and HDL in Johnson's level. But Yeah, undersized SG. However, he should be good for 15-20 points in 25 minutes off the bench. I really love him. I had a similar player on my team in the nll last year. Selby did a good job for us.

Somewhere deep down I was hoping for the second coming of Allen Iverson

Sykes was high on my list until the interview. Players with shit consistency earn my undying hate. Otherwise I probably would have taken him #11

Yeah, not a fan of Sykes personally. Handling is too low for a pg. Nick Johnson plays sg, but Sykes is too small

COMPLETELY AGREE.

This is the one thing I focus on more than any other trait.

Haha Bledsoe is an exception. He's a freak of nature that somehow averages 1.2 blocks per game despite being 6'1. He's also more of a combo guard. He does play sg, but he also plays a lot at pg. Especially if I'm playing a pg dominant team.

Weak Draft reminds me a lot of 2006 NBA draft and the 2013 NBA draft

Actually it isnt a weak draft at all. It's a pretty normal draft class. The average ratings for the top30 prospects was even above the average ratings for their startings five counterparts in the csl atm (if played the same position. For example, the average of BLK, rebound, defense etc for Cs drafted > the average for the starting five centers in the league). So the skill average got even increased. You wont find superstars outside of the top 3/5. No idea what you expect from a pick in the late 20s. You wont find players as good as NBA steals picked that late. In DDS busts and steals just dont happen. But it is good that GMs get a better feeling for what is available in drafts. Or do you guys just look at actual ratings? lol...

And not sure what is so special about Lacey. He's already well developed, but the time all is said and done the following player picked behind him all will be better: Zipser, Alexander, Gudaitis, Hunter, Sykes, Signh, Felicio. (at least according to my scouts)
