Hornets Sign Coursey
Charlotte HOrnets have signed Daniel Coursey for the remainder of the season, according to GM Cvetnarevic. Hornets were looking to improve their D at power forward position and they see former Mercer forward as a great fit. Coursey will fill in for injured Vonleh but should see a decreased role once Noah Vonleh returns from his knee injury.
The 6-10 power forward is entering his eight season in the CSL, following spells with Phoenix, Denver, Indiana, Miami, Oklahoma, Utah, Cleveland and Philadelphia. He's best known for his defensive game, including his ability to block shots.
He spent the last season with Philadelphia 76ers where he appeared 57 times, averaging 5.3 minutes per game. He registered 1.4 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Coursey also shot .476 from the field.
