Denver Nuggets: The way of The Rookies

Post by NuggOlesk »

Denver Nuggets rookie talk

I have 6 rookies in my team. I would like to have 2-3 of them to play some roll in my season, others can grow in D-League.

Image
Nigel Hayes 11,7 ppg (51% FGI) 5,2 rpg in 27,1 mpg. STP% 76. Some pref, he also has nice potenial. Pick 58. Grade: A+

Patrick Heckman 10,5 ppg (46,4 3P%) 3,2 rpg in 30,7 mpg, pref. and has some potenial left. Pick 50. Grade: B-
Marcus Eriksson 8,4 ppg in 30,3 mpg. Bad shooter no off. reb. He has some potensial, maybe pref helps. One hame had 6/10 from three. Pick 40. Grade: D+
Cedi Osman 7,6 ppg (FGI% 70) 3,9 rpg 1,7 apg in 30,6 mpg. STP% 72,7. No potensial. Pick 36. Grade C-

Image
Troy Williams 4,9 ppg (48 FG% 40 3P%) 3,7 rpg in 27,9 mpg. STP% 74,1. Most potensial left. He isn't good right now, but he is my project! Pick 30. Grade: C

Wael Arakji 4,9 ppg 2 rpg 2,4 apg in 18,3 mpg. Bad shooter. Needs pref. for 3, potensial to be good. Had a 17p (8/10 1/1) 6a 4r 3s game. Pick 54. Grade: B-

I will give Hayes, Williams and Arakij minutes. DC spot is their to keep!
Eriksson is D-League bound. Not only he must be good there. Others must suck to get him to NBA.
Heckman and Osman are starting season in D-League, but they for sure get minutes during the season. How much? This is to be seen. One is a ok shooter, the other good at D.
Hayes and Williams will have the most chance. One showed good game now, the other is my project. I have high hope for them.
Hayes would be a nice fairytale story, only problem, my best players are at his position.
At the end of the day, if I get 2 solid rookies from my 6. I am very happy! :P

Fun fact for old guys for their 4 games they played...

MKG 10 ppg 5,8 rpg 1,5 spg 1,3 bpg 17 CHRG in 34,3 mpg. 100% STP.

That Rondo statline has to feel pretty good.

What is CHRG? Charging?

Good read. I think Hayes is reading Relentless by Tim Grover which is a good choice (unless you are a LBJ fan).

I think CHRG is charges which is a buggy stat in DDS thats why it is so high.

Fyi you can only have 2 players assigned to DLeague.
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

Charge may be related to STP. MKG has 14 faced and 14 stoped so 100%
Looked a lot of CHRG players, they all had high STP number (faced/stoped).
