Indiana Press Release

Post by Mattybriand »

The Indiana Pacers have trade star center Marc Gasol, In a move the seems like it materialized over night the Pacer Sent Gasol to the Raptors for Young Center Enes Kanter and young swingman Caris LeVert.

Indy will be welcoming Enes with open arms

GM Matthew Briand had this to say
We are Extremely happy to get two young players on the rise Enes Kanter has played Amazing this season Just look at some of his recent games I mean 30 pts and 22 reb against Tyson Chandler speaks for it self. Hes a great talent and we are excited for him to be playing on our side. Caris is a player we like for the future he might not be ready right away but he has shown signs of being a quality starter in this league.

Kanter is having an impressive season and is only 24. One of the best rebounding centers in the game, can score but more or less non-existent defensively. Lavert has some skills but you have to use him right to maximise his impact
Congrats to season 16 ASL champion SoulKey. For the Swarm!

Not a real big fan of Kanter, but he's a good center, and LaVert has some real upside. Way to continue your youth movement.

Just because you read a page of the book doesn't mean you know the entire story ;)

I think planning next season is the best thing Indiana can do.

Beal, Gordon and Kanter is a decent, young foundation.
Add one piece to its core (either a PG or SF), use your mid-teens pick to grab someone that plays the missing position and all of a sudden Indy's roster is fairly decent again.

I also have an top 2 protected Hornets pick "tied for 2nd worst record"

Oh yeah so you can draft both a starter and a 6th man.
Wow that's huge
