The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced the acquisition of power forward Anthony Randolph from the Denver Nuggets for Center Ronny Turiaf. The TWolves addresses their needs at the power forward position and at the same time clearing some log jam at the Center position with this deal. Randolph reportedly, was surprised by the news but thrilled to be part of a defense oriented Wolves squad.
On the other hand, this marks the 2nd time Turiaf has been involved in a trade though the last time it did not pushed through due to unforeseen circumstances. Turiaf is expected to bolster Denver's ceiling that already have over 7 ft center Javale McGee.
