When you play in the Mecca, you are the talk of the town. When you aren’t playing well, that talk isn’t very pleasant. This is what it’s like when you are part of the New York Knicks. With the struggles at the start of the season, losing four of the first five games including all three at home, the New York Times are blasting the team to high heaven.
With the poor start, trade winds are blowing. Yes, even under the guidance of Rizzo the Knicks are heavily active in trade talks. What are people hearing around the league?

New York owns one of their first round picks over the next three drafts (2015 only), giving them zero incentive to tank. Carmelo is the face of the franchise and needs to be built around. This roster is a complete mess and Rizzo’s hands are tied with limited assets to utilize. He’s going to have to work his magic to completely change the direction and status of this franchise and fast!Western Conference GM wrote:With cap concerns next season, don’t be surprised if Rizzo tries to move Stoudemire and/or Bargnani for nearly nothing in return in far of salary. This team is screwed for two years if they can’t move them.
