After winning a championship out in Brooklyn, the LA Clippers moved quickly to sign their ring-bearing GM. LAC has been in a rut for multiple seasons and sought to sign a veteran GM to lead the franchise to a brighter future. Ramcus laid out a plan during his meeting with the team owners, and being satisfied with the plan, the LAC shareholders inked Ramcus into a long-term deal.
That was just the start of a new off-season for Los Angeles. Ramcus had laid out a plan that reflected what the LAC shareholders wanted, a fresh start. To Ramcus, that meant rebuilding the team through the draft and flipping their talent for more draft picks.
Halfway through the off-season, LAC has said goodbye to James Wiseman,Kevin Porter, and Frank Jackson, acquired Jeremy Sochan, Devonte Bandoo, Nuni Omot as the future of the team, veterans Daniel Hamilton, Kevon Looney, and Omer Yurtseven, and a multitude of 1st and 2nd Round Picks that enable the Clippers to acquire talent and build through the draft. LAC hopes this will be a change of scenery for the team, as they had gotten tired of treadmilling down at the bottom of the league with no positives in sight. This will be a long and slow rebuild, but with some patience and attention to detail, Ramcus has the opportunity to build a talented team.
