1. Bruno Fernando

With the Grizzlies suffering from several injuries to Jarratt Culver and now Sekou being out for a while, that has not stopped Bruno from having a career season averaging 25.2ppg - 13.5rpg - 3.0bpg on 53% shooting while leading the Grizzlies to an impressive 18-8 record. What has gotten into this guy?!


2. Zion Williamson

What a beast this guy really is. He may not be Zion of dds19, but he's pretty close averaging 29.0ppg - 11.7rpg - 4.0apg - 1.4spg - 2.1bpg while shooting nearly 60% from the field. The best part? He is basically carrying this team by himself with the Mavericks record being 18-10.

3. Luka Doncic

After a slow 3-5 start and trades for McCoy and Michi, Luka now has a team around him that best suits his abilities. Since the slow start, the Knicks have gone 14-6 with Luka averaging 37.1ppg - 8.4apg - 7.1rpg - 2.4spg and the Knicks now 17-11.

4. DeAndre Ayton

From Bruno to Ayton. DeAndre is having a career season himself averaging 25.4ppg - 10.4rpg - 2.7apg - 3.5bpg shooting 57% from the field. The nets started off the season 9-2 but unfortunately they have had some minor injuries which affected their record. But... do you see a trend with bigs here?

5. The whole Denver Nuggets squad

This team has started out the hottest team the CSL had in over 5 past seasons with a 21-4 record, with no specific one star. Looking at stats doesn't do this team justice. The way they all compliment each other's weaknesses while working together on offense, is a sight to see. Is the real 04 Pistons now in the West, and who even set their depth chart up? Either way, I can not name one MVP when talking about the Denver Nuggets.

I would flip Zion and Fernando right now, but it's close! Even Ayton is right up there with them. Three bigs dominating on good teams. Luka is still top 5 with his stats obviously, but if the Knicks don't start winning more he can't get the MVP imo.

Has to be Zion. Averaging 28/12 on 60% shooting, Mavs are 26-13 and 2nd in the West
