To play devil's advocate for all of the Ben Simmons votes due to accomplishments, going back to the End of Season Awards it looks like this.

2029 MVP Luka Doncic
2028 MVP Luka Doncic
2027 MVP Zion Williamson

So while Ben may have the most recent ring and currently is graving the banner, realistically he hasn't been the MVP in recent yrs and typically finishes top 3 in voting.

So that said I think it's hard to say he's actually the face of the League.

Again this is just stating am argument as Luka and Zion despite not having the rings have garnered the most voter attention.

Have to clarify indeed ... for me only championships count!!!

I never was a friend of All-Star games and MVP titles ... all bliss to me. Win it all and show you are a good basketball player, individually and as team

But that's of course just my personal opinion.

That 2027 post season run by Luka is still one of the craziest run I have ever seen lol. I don't think he can post nearly as crazy of a stat line is that one in this new engine.

It's Simmons due to rings as the lead star of the franchise, but I wouldn't argue with Luka. Those are the only two I'd consider though
