In what has the CSL bubbling over with speculation, former GM Cyrisnyte was seen entering the offices for the CSL today. It has been a very long time since there has been any sighting of the former Warriors GM who stepped away due to personal reasons. Not much has been known of the whereabouts or even less of what the former GM has been up to these last few years. Rumors of Cyrisnyte range from him having a mental breakdown to him living as a Sherpa guide in Nepal where he leads expeditions on Mount Everest.
While where he has been may be answered in time, the real question is why was he at the offices of the CSL today? It is a known fact that three of the teams are currently under league control and that they are looking for potential candidates to fill these vacancies. With the Los Angeles Clippers, Portland Trailblazers and the Dallas Mavericks having openings, could this be why Cyrisnyte was at the offices? Each of these franchises have their positives and negatives and range in their level of challenge to be seen as a premier franchise in the CSL.
While we could not reach Cyrisnyte for answers we were able to talk to a few current General Managers who asked to respond in confidentiality. We asked three General Managers and these were what they had to say about the situation of a possible return for Cyrisnyte.
General Manager 1
General Manager 2Cyrisnyte as a GM for the CSL again? Yeah, let him take over a team. I always enjoyed chalking up an easy win for our team and coach. Nice guy but nice doesn't get you the W in the CSL.
General Manager 3I never had a problem with the guy. He always responded in trade talks and was very polite. Never really saw his Warriors reach the potential I feel they could have gotten to. He became to attached to certain players and forgot this was a business in my opinion.
So one can see there is a mixed bag of emotions in regards to the potential return of Cyrisnyte to the inner circle of General Managers in today's CSL. While we cannot report anything factual at this time, we can only speculate that his presence today may be to seek a position here again in the CSL. Will the league grant him a return to help one of these rudderless franchises in the Western Conference? Or has Cyrisnyte's ship sat sail and he will need to look for another adventure in life. Has he even returned seeking a team to lead in today's CSL? We will keep you abreast as we learn the answers ourselves.I think Cyrisnyte is a good addition to the CSL. That guy was always the one making other owners scratch their head at league meetings. A different generation for sure, he would quote things that none of us had ever heard of. Good guy though and cared about his organization.
