Let's Trade!

Rumors are saying the Celtics are gonna be active again before the trade deadline - but who might be on the move? With two trades already finished this season (McLemore - White & Knox - DiVincenzo), the management is still looking for a backup point guard with 3 point range and a low scoring tendency as well as a backup wing able to spread the floor. Especially, the former type of player seems to be rare around the league so far. Being really deep, Boston has enough assets they could move for the fitting pieces though. While Fox, Cordinier, Briges, Labissiere and Whiteside are unlikely to be moved, many of the current backups could easily be solid starter on other teams.

David Michineau
Michineau, playing starter minutes lately, is a pass first point guard with strong defense. So far he's putting up a strong 3.6 ASS/TO ratio as well as great defense. So far he's stopping 91% of the drives faced, allows 0.94 points per shot faced as well as 1.5 turnover forced per game. For a team searching for a ball handling defender he might be a good fit. The chances he leaves the team before the deadline are 60%

Carsen Edwards
Solid three point gunning guard that can play both positions. So far getting some backup minutes in Boston but does fairly well in his limited minutes. Currently playing good defense (0.7 PA/SF, 90% stop) and hits his open threes on a regular clip (44% 3pt). The odds are good that Edwards will still be part of the team once the postseason rolls around - 40% chance that he will leave before the deadline.

Aaron Gordon
Gordon is having a quiet good season being a very good defender and a solid, very efficient offensive finisher around the rim. With the latest addition of Hassan Whiteside to bolster the teams rebounding, big man minutes became rare and Gordon potentially the odd man out. Being signed to a bigger contract (TO in the last year), he might be more difficult to move though. Many teams already requested though which makes a deal pretty likely - 80% Chance.

Let's trade, guys!
