The 2021 rookies by the numbers

Post by Flaming Homer »

The ROY discussion between Markkanen and Fox made me going back to my last statistic of the rookie class and compare it to the stats after season end.
It is such a close decision in my opinion, but I stayed with the ranking of Lauri at #1, followed closely by DeAaron.

No question of who the real rookie of the year is. I won't name my vote, but was an easy decision

Long run counts. There I see fox > Mark because of impact on both sides and better scoring. Also Knox was our leading scorer the past 20 games btw. At the age of 18 and at solid FG%.

Great work man, definitely some good rookies coming through.

We're really happy with White. Got the talent to play both positions and we sorely lack an outside shot which he has.

Sorry man, I was lazy and just compared the rookies I already had data for :-)
It looks like Alkins played good after the break and would have been in the rankings between 15-20 somewhere.

Haha, it's all good man. I love your rankings, as it is extremely easy to read, and honestly it looked accurate to me based on stats. The CSL is in good hands down the road with these young studs.

I might have to vote for Guler based on the picture of him alone.

Agree, this group should make some noise down the road.
I will grab this data in a few seasons, very curious to see how it works out in the long run. That is just the rookie season.

And lol to Guler's pic ... he is the boss!!
