Still Seething

Has referee cheating returned to the CSL?

Four days removed from being eliminated from the playoffs, Nuggets front office brass is still seething over the disrespect and blatantly one sided officiating. Rumors are swirling that the Nuggets have obtained council and are expected to file suit against the CBRA and CSL showing video evidence of a multitude of missed calls or phantom calls.

Denver and Golden State entered the second round with almost near identical free throw statistics in regards to attempts per game and the percentage made. However in game 2 through 7 Golden State saw a dramatic increase in FTA as the Warriors took an additional 51 free throws or nearly 9 extra free throws a game. Players that

After Wednesdays game an unnamed coach could be heard shouting "those m*th$% f@<king c0<k s##king fa%%ots cheated us, the f@<king cheated us! Those b@s%ards bet this f@<king series and robbed us! I am going to prove those f@<king b!t<h a$$ c*n%s did this and ruin them! F@<king ruin them!"

Denver is expected to arrive in NY on Wednesday in what is expected to be a very contentious meeting. No word yet on what penalties may come from the post game rant but speculation is swirling of a possible 1 year suspension. The league is surely wanting to get ahead of these accusations as they do not want this to steal headlines away from the finals. (even if this is expected to be one of the worst finals in CSL history)

We will sure to update more following the meeting later this week.

Nuggets Warriors series was refereed by Dick Bavetta, Ted Bernhardt and Bob Delaney. Those corrupt ass refs.

for context these 3 are the guys who refereed the 2002 Game 6 WCF.

Hahaha, this reminds me of the Knicks petitioning about that game winner foul call against the Rockets a few days ago.

But in all seriousness, it was an ugly FT battle. I know we've always struggled shooting them, but it's pretty nuts how bad the Nuggets were from the line this series too. Here's the official numbers:

GSW: 145/208 = 69.7%
DEN: 106/177 = 59.9%

Ugly!
Golden State Warriors
Kris Dunn | PJ Dozier | Ding Yanyuhang | Kevon Looney | Chimezie Metu
Devonte Graham | Nimrod Levi | Tariq Owens | Johnny Hamilton
'23: 34-48 (5-8 as GM)
'24: 40-42, 1st Round Exit
'25: 50-32, Championship Round Loss (4-3)
'26: 48-34, 1st Round Exit
'27: 44-38, Missed Playoffs
'28: 39-43, 1st Round Exit
'29: 57-25, Championship Round Loss (4-2)
'30: 48-34, Conference Finals Loss (4-1)

Im.not as upset with that. 69% is your season average. 69% is ours also but obviously we shot well below that in the playoffs. The foul discrepancy is what killed me. Too many players played limited minutes due to fouling out or picking up a lot of fouls early and with Silva out and then Bridges missing a couple games, this team didn't have the depth to withstand it.

I fly into NY Wednesday. Law suit will follow.

Guess not. He's a part timer just like the Rock. He just shows up during big time or special events of the year.
