Why is LAC 31 2nd forfeited? I’m loaded with cap

Just wanted to quickly thank Andrei and Kyrus for the amazing work with draft.

And ask, how many reports are we supposed to have after scouting period 6? 250? 275? 300?

We should have a fixed amount of reports for next season as it makes it easier to plan how to scout accordingly!

But definitely 5 or 6 periods and 50 scouts per period works much better than 8 periods of 25 scouts or so!
Less work for you guys, less work for us GMs and more possibilities for us to help with spotlights since we don’t have to write so many articles anymore!

I'm happy to agree on the reasonable number of scouts. Perhaps it can be calculated as a ratio of scouts vs number of prospects in the draft i.e. 3 per 1 - but its up to you of course if you want to send all scouts for one prospect or spread them out. I personally support the more scouts the better for as much transparency as possible.

This season, I've been a bit on and off due to personal stuff so I pretty much managed this as we went without a specific goal of scouts. I get that some structure is better. If you feel we did not get enough scouts, let us know.

I do feel we got a nice amount of scouts, that clearly wasn't the problem. And a good amount of periods as well!
I'd think of something like 5 periods / 60 scouts each (no double scouts or whatever), which equals 300 scouts for a 100 player class. Less work for you to send reports, less work for GMs to write articles (we can focus more on spotlights and write the occasional season review / preview + one article or two per year). Then get like 15 workouts and interviews plus combine and it's picture perfect without becoming too tiring for you.

Minimum requirements would be 1 article per period. We shouldn't really have insider / wiretap stuff anymore I guess because people already understand that articles should be a minimum lenght and interesting subjects lol

Also, when running the scouts I got a brain freeze and put in Period 3 instead of 2 - so you should now have scouts from 1 and 3.

Related to this:

• Scouting period 1: I submitted two prospect articles, one of them was a hidden gem, and got 75 points.

• Scouting period 1: I submitted one prospect article, who was a hidden gem, and one insider and got 75 points.

• Scouting period 3: I submitted two wiretaps and got 24 points.

So my guess is that prospect articles and insiders are 25 points and wiretaps 12 points. Am I correct? Sorry to ask but I couldn't find the information.

Yes, you can submit either 2 Insiders or 2 Wiretaps and get relevant scouting points for these
