DDS23/24

Post by emplep7 »

Hey,

So we are strongly considering transitioning the league to DDS25 once it comes out, but wanted to see how we can transition our roster file through each iteration to make it a little less burdensome this time around.

Does anyone here have a spare DDS 2023 and/or 2024 license they can share with the admin team so that we can start seeing how the roster files transition ahead of the offseason?

Any help would be appreciated!

It’s not released yet so still not 100% known, but I’ve heard 24 was a big improvement over 22 and we want to explore making the transition to an improved engine

As long as it doesn’t make all my guys shooting under 40% all of a sudden, then I’m good with it.

It’s the whole reason we’re moving to a new engine. Can’t have you turning that franchise around.

It started with this version. I wouldn't be surprised.

The 32-12 every night changed when we switched. Now he's just 27-9 with the 38-17 stats sometimes against non competitive teams(or team who dont guard him), to make his stats look good.

I'm open. 100%
I like DDS22 as it fixed most of DDS19 weaknesses but well, upgrading is always good.
I don't mind paying at all. Just gotta be something that is a surefire upgrade.

Does that engine value spacing at all?

dont switch without a reason as 2026 might have some important fixes.

If you could run tests and put it on youtube that would be helpful.

This engine values spacing a lot.
That's one of the main reasons teams can't reach the rim in CSL right now

Yes. It seems to me the focus on the last one was making players score more realisticly and making defense actually work. I don't mind buying and testing it if needed. I used to do similar for the football game in the other league
