Stepping Away
It pains me to say this but I will be stepping away from the league starting at the end of this regular season. I have a lot going on in my life - back in school getting my next degree, having a 2nd child in June, coding my own game as a side hustle - and need to find time for all these responsibilities. While the CSL will always be a second home to me, I need to step away. This has nothing to do with me being a perennial underachiever as that's something I'm used to. I just have lost a lot of motivation to keep up with the team and this Brooklyn Nets franchise deserves much better.
This also means I will be stepping away from the draft team as well. The CSLO will stay up and running and I've agreed to transition the draft classes from season to season and help with any issues that may arise.
I know I'll be back. I don't know when. Everyone always finds their way back to this league and I know it will be no different for me. I love this league, this community and everything this community has grown to become outside of just a sim league for me. I'll be sure to continue to pop in to the FB chat here and there to keep up with the nonsense going on in there.
I need a break and the Nets need a dedicated GM. I look forward to the new GM taking over and building this team into a winner as it is primed to take the next step. Unfortunately, it just isn't the right time for me to do so.
Much love as always!

Well shit. This sucks. You've always been a fantastic part of this league, both as a GM and as someone who has helped push the league forward. Can't wait until we are both eventually back lol

Yeah, I mean Adam has brought a ton to this league so this is obviously a big loss. As always though, I 100% support taking time away to focus on the actual important priorities in your real life. All the best man and hopefully we see you back here sometime in the future!

you're leaving Brooklyn in a great spot, and the league in general, with all your contributions to the draft team.

Re: Stepping Away
That summarizes what I would like to say.
I’ll miss you and Myles a lot, but I’ve been there before, had to take some time off and came back re-energized.
Hope the same applies to you guys
Also, may you achieve all you are chasing in your personal life, Adam, and congrats on your second child! Really happy to see you, as one of the best of us, doing so well in your life!
Remember to share your own game with us once it’s ready! I’ll happily try it for you, surely it’s gonna be a great game!

Yeah this is no good. I completely get it as it happens to all of us at some point but the guy you are and what you've done for the league, you'll be sorely missed until you return.
Congrats on everything going on though. That's the awesome part of this

Re: Stepping Away
A sizeable hit to the CSL in terms of productivity and (just as equally) general likeability/ enjoyability. Looking forward to when you (hopefully) eventually come back, but you have a lot of awesome things happening in your life right now, so take care man. Congrats on kid #2
And good luck with your classes. Taking classes on top of working full-time is a challenge in itself, and I didn't have a wife, a kid, and another on the way... So I can only imagine. But you have the work ethic and drive to do it. Best of luck, Adam

Re: Stepping Away
Congrats man! Sad to see you leave, but I noticed myself the past months it's really tough to keep up with the leagues and somehow check CSFL more often lately due to more relaxed sim schedule and easier to access via discord on mobile. Cool that you are staying in the CSFL though. As Doug said, one of the nicest guys around!

Re: Stepping Away
Disappointed to hear another admin leave at the end of this season. I have a huge amount of respect for both you and Myles, who both work together to make this league stick. Thanks for everything, and I'm sure you'll come back eventually. It's just a matter of when
