Welcome to the NCAA CSL! This will this forum's first ever college basketball sim league run through DDS:CB2016. We are now open for applications with CSL members getting a first crack at picking their team. Our forums are located at the bottom of these boards. Head down, check out the rules, fill in the coach application and get ready for the season!

Note: You MUST have the game in order to participate in this league. We would have no problem entering depth charts, but the recruiting aspect makes it imperative that you are able to log in on your own and recruit players.

Sounds good and quite tempted to take a team. Few questions :

- How many days will be simmed at once? I guess some rules should be setup when creating your calendar to maximise the lenght of sim?
- How long time for a complete season?
- Will games between human teams be organized? I think it could be fun since no one is taking teams in the same conference
- Do we get offer from better school when winning with the online version?

- How many days will be simmed at once? I guess some rules should be setup when creating your calendar to maximise the lenght of sim? Looking at it now, it looks like we could be simming two or three times a week and three days a sim. A quick look at a schedule in a test association shows that with three days/sim, you would generally only ever have 1 game per sim unless you were in a pre-season tournament. As for conference tournaments and March Madness, we would obviously sim just one day per sim to allow game planning to occur.
- How long time for a complete season? If we do three days/sim and three sims per week, we could knock out the regular season in 9 weeks and then head into post season tournament fun. If we do two sims per week, then it would take about 13 weeks for a full season.
- Will games between human teams be organized? I think it could be fun since no one is taking teams in the same conference. Games between human coaches can be organized during the scheduling process. You would have to try to set it up on the forums first and then schedule it in the game but that's definitely something that should be encouraged. This isn't college football where one loss can ruin your season, so there's no reason to go an entire season without playing against a human opponent. This may be something we add in permanently!
- Do we get offer from better school when winning with the online version? Yes you do!

Thanks for the feedback. When do you expect the season to start?

We are recruiting people to join. I think we are hopeful to get it up and running this coming weekend. There is quite a bit of recruiting that happens before the regular season begins so we want to start ASAP.
