little biased;

Luka Doncic

From taking too many threes to limiting his threes, and he made the 3 point contest. Averaged best fg % of career.

Others:

Rui Hachimura
DeAndre Ayton
DAVION MITCHELL
LaMelo Ball
Bruno Fernando
Jarrett Allen
ISAAC OKORO
Tyrese Haliburton
Matisse Thybulle
DARIUS GARLAND
FRANK NTILIKINA
Troy Brown
Isaiah Livers

Here are MEM candidates:

Bruno Fernando had his best scoring campaign of his career. +7.3 PPG this season as well as + 2.9 RPG. Led the league in RPG by +1.2 and finished third in Blocks. Solid candidate for Most Improved as well as Defensive Player and even MVP.

David Roddy made huge leaps in his second season in the league by becoming our top scoring option inside not named Bruno. He had an amazing +9.1 PPG and +7.1 RPG compared to last season. His ability to score inside and get to the line has been super impressive. He also shot 50% this season compared to 42% last year. Solid choice for Most Improved and also 6th Man as he produced these numbers in 10 starts and 79 games.

Tyrese Haliburton for me for sure. Dude went from 7/4/4 to a guy that's averaging 16/4/4 on 49/41/90 shooting split. Brandon McCoy is averaging career highs in scoring and efficiency as well. Dude is turning into a legit starting big man. Nathan Knight could have been a great one, but he didn't play in enough games. PJ Washing in PHX is having a career year as well.

If we're excluding 3rd year guys, I like Bruno Fernando a lot. Zhaire Smith also just had the best season of his career so far. Bam Adebayo's had his best full season of his career, albeit not the best stretch of games with one team in total. Matisse Thybulle got unleashed this season well, along with PJ Washington too. Rui Hachimura averaged a double double as well, with monster defense as the norm; decent efficiency to boot as well.

If we're including 3rd year guys, Issac Okoro, Tyrese Haliburton, Davion Mitchell, LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, Zaccheus Darko-Kelly, Viny Okouo, Nimrod Levi.

Just so it's a bit easier to see:
Bruno Fernando
Zhaire Smith
Bam Adebayo
Matisse Thybulle
PJ Washington
Rui Hachimura
----------------------------
Issac Okoro
Tyrese Haliburton
Davion Mitchell
LaMelo Ball
Anthony Edwards
ZDK
Viny Okouo
Nimrod Levi
