2030 All Star Voting - NOW OPEN
We are closing in to the 2030 in game All-Star Game and are ready to collect the league votes as well.
Silo brought up an interesting idea for the All-Star game and we decided to try it out this year.
The idea is, that every GM votes for the All-Stars of his own conference only. The best GM of every conference at the time of the in-game All-Star game qualifies to submit a DD for his conference.
Hopefully that can give the game a more competitive edge.
Only two rules apply for the DC:
- max 28 min/player
- the pace has to be set to max
Please access the link below and submit your vote.
You all have until the in-game all Star game is simmed. We will post the results on the forums as usual.
Note: You will still see the voting for both conferences but only your vote for your won conference (either East or West) will be calculated. You can leave the other conf just empty.
https://stat.championsimleague.com/alls ... h8sw4i2rxi
Please follow the rules as usual when voting (PGs and SGs for guards, SFs PFs and Cs for forwards/centers, all of them for wildcards). Also keep in mind that:
- You CANNOT vote for your players.
- 5 points for starters, 3 points for reserves, 1 point for wildcards.
- Try not to vote for players with injuries past February 18th (when the ASG will be simmed).
- Players injured and still named for All-Star will be replaced by next player with most votes, no matter the position.
- Players traded past this date will automatically become INELIGIBLE for the All-Star Game.
- GMs who do not vote will have their players penalized a tier.
Please post here as soon as you submit your vote!
Thanks!

I liked voting for both conferences. All stars are not about winning the game but seeing players that deserves to be there making the game. I don't want to pick the best players from the conference, but rather the players that performed well enough to be there

I like a competitive all-star game and i like a little east west rivalry. I also like that the admins mix it up every once in awhile.

I agree. I don't care about ratings for the All-Star game. I just want to reward the players playing well on stats/team records alone. Ratings in the CSL are boring because they never change. It's been the same guys forever.Marcos_Beck wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 9:41 pm Done!

But I like the East-West matchup. Would be better if we could still vote for both conferences.

Re: 2030 All Star Voting - NOW OPEN
I think most vote based on stats/team record even when the game has meaning. I agree voting on ratings is boring and voting on stats alone is dumb, an all-star game full of empty stats would be horrible.TheTwoWallaces wrote: ↑Tue May 16, 2023 7:10 am

I like not having to vote for the west so i can focus my time and make sure i get the east votes right. Plus my vote means more with fewer voters.

Cool idea. Done.
And is Ben Simmons really a Forward? That guy scoots around all over the place lol
Sidenote: PG Trae Young is still listed in the East.

Yeah I would've liked to have voted for the Western Conference All Stars, too.
