2-Way Contracts

We will allow the signing to 2-Way contracts.

Two contracts can be signed per team and they can be used to stash players in the D-League.
please be aware that a 2-Way contract is automatically converted into an regular contract, if the player is recalled from the D-League. Roster and cap limits apply!!

Awesome addition! Thank you! Now some of the rawer guys can have a chance to stick around, and develop without being wasted in the d-league with no ownership due to roster space issues. Gives the draft team incentives to create more raw prospects too.

This should be very good for super RAW 2nd round picks I guess, as teams will surely take a flyer on them hoping for a +10 or for quick development.

Who is eligible for a 2 way? Is there a maximum experience requirement I.e 2 years?

This is a great addition since now we can go and see if there are some undrafted gems out there. Maybe even from previous drafts? (Depending on the answer to the question above)

Also, does the game allow this or a Simmer has to action to sign a player to two way?

Only player with fewer than four years experience should be eligible, not 100% sure if the game does that right.

The Simmer has to sign it. During the season we will just use the standard Player Movement thread.

Yes, please use the 2nd rounder thread during the off-season. Right now the game allows only to sign the rookies anyway.

So, if I understood correctly, these two players will not count against my roster or my cap as long as I don't recall them from the G-League. So effectively I will have 17 players. If I call one of them to play in the CSL, then his contract counts against my cap. Is that correct?

Also, if / when I call one of these two players to play in the CSL, do I have to free a roster spot in the 15-player CSL roster?
